We had an independent pet friendly studio apartment at the back of the complex for our selves (a couple) and two pooches. Although this area has some separate grassed area, it is not dog proof (important to mention as the man staying next to us lost his dog who escaped under the fence). That being so, although simply furnished and...

Thank you for your review really appreciate it and yes will put on our website it is not an enclosed yard for pets rather Open area but we do ask guests to ensure pets are in a lead when in the common area to prevent pets being annoying to other guests or young children. We look forward to welcoming you...

Although this place is in a quiet road that's the only quiet thing about it. In my experience guests showed no respect for fellow guests by keeping noise down at night / early morning. Room doors had two locks fitted which were both extreemly noisey. The lodge was not clean and for the duration of my stay neither my room...

We appreciate your review however we have no control over the behaviour of other guests despite house rules in each apartment requesting guests to be considerate to other guests. Our bedsits which total 4 are mainly booked by single guests and very rare to have 4 bedsits with couples. All of our apartments are self contained and once again guests...

We stayed in one of their apartments for two nights with my friend. The staff were so friendly and kind, we were even lent dvds from the owner's own collection to watch when we were faced with a rainy day. Location is great, just off the beach and close to the corso but on a quaint, quiet lane. Would recommend...

We have been here a few times now and as always is very relaxing ... photos show exactly as is ... Close to excellent restaurants, the corso, the ferry, the water... Staff are terrific - very helpful and obliging. In fact when we were here last time vs now, the Lodge looks much brighter. Pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended especially if...

Do not expect any kind of useful assistance from staff or management if there is any kind of issue with your booking or room. They are overly aggressive, unhelpful and extremely rude. When I arrived at the outback lodge I found out that the hotel had 2 bookings under my name. I had originally tried to book through expedia but...

Hi Laura, Thank you for your review and I advise that it is quite normal for guests to book under the one name multiple apartments so no alarm bells rang out when we saw that you had booked two different types of apartments one with Expedia, of which you would have received confirmation for, and the other one direct on...

Nice location on quiet street but still close to restaurants, etc. Our room was spacious with separate kitchen and bathroom but it did need a bit of a refresh. Staff very friendly - lovely ladies. Wifi was poor / intermittent on most occasions. I would stay again.

Thank you for the review and yes we definitely will be updating a lot of the apartments during our winter period to give it that really nice fresh look again - majority of apartments have already been upgraded but its always an ongoing thing, so hopefully we can welcome you back again once a lot of the upgrades are completed...

The room was tired but we deemed it adequate for the price. Air conditioning worked and was essential. What we didn't enjoy was the huge number of mosquitos in the room, although we discovered a can of flyspray under the sink. We made it clear on booking that our toddler was with us and requested a cot - I suggest...

Dear Guest, thank you for bringing these matters to our attention, however, we cannot do anything about mosquitos/flies that may occasionally want to come and visit hence the can of fly spray to deal with those situations, which can happen during heavy rain or hot sticky days. We do have some new staff members and apologies that one of them...

Staying at the Outback Lodge in Manly was one of our two most appalling travel experiences we have had to endure, the other was over 20 years ago in the Dominican Republic. Dear Guest, We certainly do appreciate your feedback and apologise for staff being downright honest about the 40 degree heat - it was an exceptionally hot day and quite understandable for anyone to comment like this whether they be staff or a guest - its our Aussie way!! Yes, the accommodation you specifically chose on booking.com was a budget 1...

Stayed here for work twice in the space of a week (two different rooms), as it was all the travel agent could find available. It was probably better than having nowhere to stay, but could have had a better stay sleeping on a friends couch. Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
