The first trip to Decameron Los Cocos was just Laurie and I. The second trip a few years later we took the kids and we all enjoyed it, Laurie and I just as much as the first time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. If you want to be in the city for sight-seeing...

We got a deal on this package and were pleasantly surprised. We always stay cheap, ($670.00 Canadian for 7 days, all inclusive) and got more than we paid for. If you like the company of many Mexicans,(and we do), good food, great entertainment staff, large rooms, hospitable staff, calm swimming in a bay, walking distance to more great restaurants, market...

This was my first visit to Mexico so I was very nervous about booking this resort, but based on the reviews I thought it would be a good choice. The drive from the airport to the hotel is quite long and windy - about 2hrs. So there is quite a bit of travelling, but in my opinion, it is worth...

We got an excellent price for this resort. Booked the day before we left so felt it was a good deal. but....It is a billion miles out of Puerto Vallarta. Bus from airport was about 2 hours so you spend 2 days traveling. One in and one out. That was my main complaint..I've been to Mexico lots of times so...

We went on vacation to Jalisco for a month, and wanted to go to the beach so we booked a week stay at Decameron Los Cocos. The travel advisor suggested Pourto Vailarta instead ,but a friend told us that for small children the beach was better waves were small and you could go in far and was not deep so...

This was my second trip to DLC and I'm already planning for 4 weeks next year. Although things got off to a bad start with my wife requiring emergengy surgery (umbilical hernia) in PV the morning after our arrival, things went uphill on her return (2 days). Managment and staff were all aware of what happened and couldn't seem to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On the picturesque Bay of Rincon de Guayabitos in the state of Nayarit, just 55 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport amidst a typical fishing village, Hotel Decameron Los Cocos is the ideal place to experience the most spectacular family holiday. Its white beaches and crystal clear water contrast with the bright colors of the hotel's architecture. We have 4 pools throughout our installations, 3 of which are suitable for children, and over 100 meters of beaches. Experience the international and typical dishes you can find at the La Bamba, La Canoa and El Tropical Restaurants, or enjoy the most delicious drinks at the disco or at the bars on the beach, like La Iguana and Pelicanos. During the day you can enjoy different recreational activities like non-motorized water sports, kayaking, sailboats and a catamaran, a massage parlor, and tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts. ... more   less
