We stayed here for 2 nights and were very impressed with the friendly staff that we met. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to genuinely care about us as customers. We had a problem with our wi-fi connection and Ryan, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to sort out the problem.Another staff member, Lloyd, helped us with finding somewhere to eat.The room was as expected, no frills, but everything you need in a clean and tidy environment. The shower was lovely and hot. We travelled with our dog and the staff were very good with him, which made us feel more relaxed. The hotel is within walking distance of Porthkerry country park, which is superb for dog walking.
Great stay lovely clean hotel Kudos to the reception staff always super friendly and helpful Pity the Toby carvery next door is still closed however there is a vending machine in the reception area and a continental breakfast available 🥐🥐
Hotel was clean and covid safe, staff was extremely friendly, especially the manager, there’s a free car park, only a 5minutes drive from the beach, Theres a pub next door but unfortunately it’s closed I guess due to covid, but apart from that I can’t fault them, it says what it saids on the tin. Will defiantly return for a week in the summer
I must say this is one of the most friendliest, and nicest little Travelodge I have stayed in, and really has an edge compared to the modern City hotels, the rooms and building have so much character, the rear view is amazing of rolling hills and cows, the rooms are super clean and covid safe, the shower was fantastic temperature, also the big bonus is a free carpark, but a massive shout out to the Luke the nice chap who checked us in and the Nightshift lad and also a massive shoutout to the manager in the morning who I could see was working hard cleaning around the hotel. We will defiantly be returning
We have used this hotel a number of times over the years when visiting family. Our latest stay did not disappoint. Hotel is spotless and has a really fresh feel about it. Lovely shower, comfy bed and large family room overall. Staff here are the greatest assets to the hotel, they simply can’t do enough for you! Thank you, we will be back soon
