We had booked this as a 1st experience of this type of accommodation. We arrived on Friday afternoon after a little difficulty with sat nav directions but Mary the owner was only at the end of a phone for assistance. The rain had started as we left home and didn't let up. We drove to the car park and then...

I stayed here for three nights on 17th June 2016 with my husband and 3mth old twins and we had a fantastic time. It is a lovely remote part of Wales which offers great tranquility, country walks, a small drive to local areas and the yurt had all the necessary things needed for a weekend break. The yurt was spacious...

Just back from a weekend stay. Wow! Beautiful panoramic views, lovely weather on the first day so was able to use the boat on the lake which was the highlight and very romantic. Weather for the reminder wasn't as good but still a lovely place to stay with all the amenities you need, would highly recommend. Also the complimentary wine...

I was a bit dubious at first as my wife had never camped and the weather was set to be awful. Very pleasantly surprised with the tipi and yurt, both very comfortable to stay in. Included was fire wood, water, fresh filtered coffee, tea, a complimentary bottle of wine and even a few sweet treats on our arrival. It was...

Had a great 2 nights in the yurt. Brilliant secluded site, super views. 2 adults and 2 kids under 4. Plenty of room in yurt and very comfy. lots of attention to detail by owners who were very welcoming and helpful throughout stay. Plenty to do, exploring, making fires, collecting wood, borrowing the rowing boats, not far to coast either,...

This could not have been a more relaxing break. We stayed in the yurt, supplied with an outside kitchen, compost toilet and pump action shower just a few feet away. Although the weather was typically Welsh the yurt was snug and comfortable. We had as much firewood as we needed and I can heartily recommend going there for a break...

if you want to get right away from things but still have civilisation within easy(ish) reach, this is the place to go. The scenery is fantastic, your only neighbours are sheep, and the tipi is so well equipped that (as long as you've brought food with you) there is no need to leave until it's home time! We were lucky...

We have just returned from a weekend in the Yurt. I had been before but returned with my children and Husband to show them how wonderful it is. It really is a home from home! Such an idyllic peaceful setting surrounding by wildlife. No traffic noise, just birds tweeting and sheep baa-ing! Our 2 children had a fantastic time, bug...

We stayed at the Tipi a couple of weekends ago for 2 nights. Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived - defo have wellies/walking shoes ready straight away, as you need to walk up from the car along a potential wet track. The Tipi itself was very well equipped; double bed, futons, cooking equipment, cafetiere, cool box and even a...

We choose mid wales tipis because it was rural remote but easy to find. The tipi was comfortable, equipped with EVERYTHING you need down to a cork screw. I was impressed with the mini kitchenet inside which was ideal for when it rained (most of the time) The chiminea made the tipi warm and cosy. You must borrow the row...
