We have been to England and Scotland several times so we wanted to try Wales. However we did not want the "typical" Wales experience of most people who go to Southern Wales. The North sounded to removed so we settled on Mid Wales and for us it was the perfect choice. Lots of Beautiful countryside; not too many people. The...

I stayed at this B&B whilst working locally and could not have been happier with what I found when I got to Sunny View. Steve and Jayne are very welcoming and attentive, and obviously put a lot of thought into how to make the stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The room was modern, fresh, light and airy, and...

As others have said, Steve and Jayne really have thought of everything in this idyllic home from home setting. The little touches brought a smile to my face. Steve was even de-icing another guests car this morning. Lovely, lovely people. It's such a shame they are selling but if you get a chance to stay here before they do then...

A really lovely place to stay. Jayne & Steve are the perfect hosts. I really miss Steve's cooked breakfast in the morning. The rooms are perfect and spotlessly clean. A wonderful place to stay for a short break. TV and free wifi with tea making facilities in each room.

We stayed at Sunny View for three nights while we were visiting the Centre for Alternative Technology, near Machynlleth in mid-Wales. My wife and I had travelled over from Northern Ireland. We couldn't have found a better place to stay. Jayne and Steve are perfect hosts and they couldn't do enough for us. The house was spotless; the bedroom and...

Yep, spotless with lots of nice little well-thought touches. Lovely welcome with tea and welshcakes. Walked to Mach in evening - 1.4miles. Very wet, umbrellas kindly offered (but politely declined, well what would that have done for our rufty-tufty mountain biking cred eh?). OK pub food and great beer at White Lion. Plentiful veggie breakfast back at Sunny View, kindly...

Stayed two nights while bro-in-law and I did the Cambrian Coast cycle sportive out of Aberdyfi. Jayne and Steve made us welcome, fed us fantastic breakfasts, couldn't have been more helpful or attentive, and have created a modern, stylish, unpretentious, spotless and friendly place for the weary cyclist to use as a base. The food is fresh, plentiful and tasty...

Our first visit to this part of Wales for a few days summer break. We heartily agree with the previous reviews. Jayne and Steve are very welcoming hosts and run a first class B&B. The room was ideal with a lovely en-suite - nicely coordinated and with little touches like a pair of binoculars in the room to look at...

This was our second stay and I can only echo all the positive things said by previous reviewers. We only wish we had had more time to prolong our stay. It is a lovely location and is the perfect place to relax. I can't imagine a b&b surpassing Jayne and Steve's. The breakfast is the best possible. We will certainly...
