We passed the Brigand on our way to the coast and thought how nice it looked from the outside and decided to call in on our way back for lunch. We were not disappointed. The bar/restaurant was very welcoming. The staff friendly and helpful. We ordered fish and chips and ended up with what I can only describe as whale...

Came here after driving round Wales lost for a few hours, lovely decor inside and bar maid was nice and friendly, girl that took our order was very blunt, we both ordered roast pork and asked for a Yorkshire pudding each, when the food came out the pork came out first on the plate with just the Yorkshire pudding? Then...

Converted 15th Century coaching inn; there is accommodation , a restaurant and a bar area. There is a nice outside seating area for those nice sunning days. ( It was pouring down on the day we travelled there) Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good parking facilities. Every time we have passed by it always appears very busy/popular. Set on...

. It's old. American guests will just LOVE it! The floors aren't straight, the walls lean, and there are strange-shaped rooms. But it is a very pleasant place to stay, the proprietors are trying hard to make you welcome, and the views from the windows are gorgeous. Bed very comfortable, large room with large bathroom with a free-standing bath and...

This atmospheric Inn offers a lovely and relaxing base from which to explore the area - offering stunning scenery from mountains to the sea. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, the standard of accommodation was luxurious and the food delicious. We will certainly return.

I really like this this pub. It's sits very nicely at the junction of two main roads surrounded by green Welsh hills. Pleasant gardens and outside seating. There seems to be a gated dog area. Maybe owners can leave their furry friends in there. When you enter the pub you immediately get the impression of a well maintained property. The...

What a real gem of a hotel! Hidden in the valleys but perfect for that reason. Spectacular views and superb service by the staff and owners. Was given room one, see pictures, fantastic grand 4 poster! Anyways, great food (best lamb I've ever tasted), great beer and the staff (without even trying) were attentive and welcoming from the minute I...

We found this inn situated in a very rural setting the staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was superb with plenty of choice. The breakfast was cooked to order and included the usual Welsh breakfast. Haddock etc and was plentiful. The bedroom and the bathroom were first class.although the owners had recently taken over the inn we...

The Inn is easy to find and has a good size car park. The staff are excellent. Everybody was friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week-end and we dined in one evening. The room we had was well furnished with a comfortable bed. The Linens were spotless and of good quality. The room was very clean. The bathroom was...
