Very nice owner, good breakfast, few types of rooms, big yard, the house it self is very decorated, indeed lovely place in Brecon area. There are 2 pubs just near by, few minutes walk, but serving food only until 20:30. We really loved this place.

Great accommodation lovely people breakfast stunning. Lots of choice to eat and little extras for no charge. Penny for penny as good as I have encountered having travelled widely. Also great evening meals within a few hundred yards at local pub. Pies to die for.

Very beautiful. Defined gonna come again. You can see ponies through the window!!! Loved it. The location is also convenient. If you go east 10 minutes drive you will reach the wildfire reserve. If you drive west for 10 minute you will meet the chance to go hiking to the pen-y-fan.

Had a great stay, great value for money! Our loft room was great and lovely and warm; with self catering which was useful. Breakfast was very good and the owner was really friendly! Would definitely think about staying again.

We have checked into this pretty country house for 4 nights. Upon arrival we were impressed by the scenic view of their beautiful English garden and cozy interior. The room and bathroom is clean though the water for the shower runs a little too slow. The sitting area for guest in the upstairs is lovely, one can sit there to...

Stayed for 1 night in August. Had an email from the owner early in the day to see what time we would be arriving as he wanted to go shopping, but a time was arranged and a nice lady met us. We were shown to the room, which to my amusement had 3 single beds.......ummm, generally thought a family rooms...

From the minute Anne welcomed us we knew this was no ordinary B&B. This a beautiful house and the décor certainly appealed to us. There is the most amazing garden with a pond and a lake. Two gorgeous parrots reside in the garden. Our impression of Pen-y-Bryn was that it was a very generous - no stinting here (eg coffee...

Stayed here for a night whilst we visited the Hay Literary festival nearby. The lady who runs the b&b is very welcoming and the b&b is charming. It is full of travel mementoes and quirky items which add to the character. It is set in nice grounds complete with parrots and a little pond with ducks and geese. It is...

A lovely bed and breakfast ,set in gorgeous gardens, on the edge of the pretty village. There are two excellent pubs a short walk away for dinner. The lady hostess looked after us very well and the breakfast was perfect. We stayed three nights and will definitely return. They only take cash or cheque and there is no cash point in...
