Stayed here over the bank holiday with our three young kids and must say its a great friendly place with really good food, much if it grown or sourced locally. Perfect location from which to explore Breacon and within an hour of a couple of theme parks near Tenby.

We stayed here after reading the good reviews and were not disappointed. We may have kept driving if we had past it on the road but it is a very different story inside. The couple who run the place were extremely kind and friendly. We stayed in a beautiful room with a grand Victorian bath. The food was of a...

Wonderful dog-friendly hotel. We stayed in a family suite with a master bedroom and connecting twin room for our two daughters (aged 12 and 14). Kathryn and Alan were very welcoming and friendly. Only minor gripe was there was no fridge. Also no TV in girls' room. Otherwise, we had a wonderful short break as a complete family (including our...

Very comfortable, clean recently refurbished / upgraded room with thoughtful touches like tissues and cotton wool. Would have just liked some bottled water too (always forget to bring as so many hotels now provide). Good quality, well cooked breakfast with eggs from the chickens living in the lovely gardens. Dinner menu a little limited but again well cooked and good...

Kathryn and Alan run a tremendously friendly and inviting hotel. I loved the food, the bar (and all the locals) in the evening. I even enjoyed fishing the hotels fishing beats. The 4 beats come free (when available) to guests that stay 2 nights or more. The rooms are so warm and so comfortable that I could even overlook the...

I couldn't have made a better choice for my first trip to Wales. Everything was more than satisfactory, but what stood out was the quality of the service and the welcoming attitude of the staff. They were also very well informed about the area, and though it was a very busy weekend for them they always took the time to...

We recently had a 3 night winter break at this hotel and can confirm everything that the other reviewers have said. We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly and certainly our dog had a good time, so much so that she was reluctant to leave, as were we. Kathryn and Alan are so relaxed that it is impossible...
