We came here with another couple and had such a lovely evening. It was a nice atmosphere, Warm and cosy. Superb food and great service and staff always friendly and always with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Will visit again, highly recommended
Good hotel in pretty village. Food and drink excellent with staff helpful. Rooms are most unusual with sloping floors which adds to the character of the hotel. Traditional menu , well presented and tasty
What a delightful hotel. It’s quirky, it has creaky uneven floors, Tudor beams and a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. I would heartily recommend this hotel.
Fantastic stay over new year on half board. The hotel is very old and has a wonderful stair case and sloping floors in the bed room. This made a very interesting and fun stay. The Room was lovely and comfortable with clean fresh bedding and lovely shower room with massive shower. The Food is excellent.with a large choice of meals. I had a very good steak that was cooked perfect Breakfast was excellent with full welsh breakfast, cereals , breads tea coffee etc. The bar serves excellent real ale and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. The Hotel staff are friendly and cheerful. There are lovely walks direct from the hotel that are very easy. Excellent value for money we paid only £90 per night for 2 people including evening meals and breakfasts.
We stayed here for two nights and found it very comfortable and the staff incredibly friendly. A very beautiful building with so many original features. A great base for travelling around the area which is just beautiful. If you love being at one with the countryside then this is the place for you. Food is very tasty and plenty of it. We had an excellent deal with accommodation, breakfast and three course evening meal included. Well worth it. My only thing would be that the vegetarian/vegan menu is quite limited. That said, the vegetable curry was delicious!! Will hope to visit again. Thank you ☺️
