Stayed two nights, room only. Greeted with a warm welcome and checked into our room (Room 1). Pleasantly surprised how large the room and en-suite were, given the price. The only downside was the hand-held over bath shower - but that's personal choice for us....More
Delightfully quirky building. The room we stayed in (3) has all the attributes of a 17th c Inn with lumpy floors and big oak beams connected to a completely up to date, pleasant en suite. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much...More
I am not easily pleased but this was a nice place to stay. We had a very clean room which must be difficult given the fact that it all needs to be decorated and upgraded. I didn't actually mind the sloping floors or peeling paint...More

Our room was clean and tidy, exactly what you’d expect - I enjoyed several hot baths! The room was made up whilst we were out which was nice.
