Took my disabled mum to the hotel today for afternoon coffee - sign outside advertises coffee and cake. When our coffees were brought over we asked about what cakes they had only to be told they didn't have any. Very disappointing and I wiling be returning anytime soon.

My partner and I booked a 2 night break with the intention of exploring the area. We could not fault the hotel as it is very well appointed and of a very standard. We were met by Kate, who was extremely helpful and efficient. We were given a guided tour by Kate, and she obtained further information for us re... More

Terrific Hotel but even better staff in Particular the lovely Rowena who ferried my sister and I to the railway station in a swish Jaguar at 'no charge'. She really trod that extra mile and was exemplary in all respects.

We had a 2 night break in The Knighton Hotel. It is very well appointed and the staff are helpful and efficient. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and had a very nice 3 course meal. The wine is sensibly priced too! The only fault we had was the the rooms were too warm. Knighton is a... More

We came on a short break advertised through an online discount scheme. We were attracted by the location on Offa's Dyke path and we found the walking in the area generally good. Our first evening in the hotel was very welcoming but we had difficulty getting into our room. All the door handles were smooth round knobs which both of... More

This is a traditional hotel that has had one of the best conversion jobs I have seen. The rooms (we were in 14) are smart, spacious, well finished and clean. Breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable - we had a meal in the restaurant and another in the bar. The beer was good as well. We were lucky in that... More

We saw a "deal" on the internet which looked good so we booked two nights at The Knighton Hotel. We were so pleased with the place that we stayed over for another two nights! The hotel sits at the bottom of the High Street in Knighton so it's a good place for exploring this charming sleepy little town, and the... More
