Nick never fails to present fabulous food. The haddock brulee is our favourite starter and this time I had the salt marsh lamb with herb crust rather than steak and it was absolutely gorgeous. The mains always come with Dauphinoise potatoes and veg which suits us fine because they are delicious. I didn't have room for pud but H had... More

Hidden from the road by a magnificent lush bog garden, bursting with gunnera manicata, the house is a magical place that serves good food and fine wines. The host, chef, manager, Nick manages the whole place with a small team. We can recommend the top class lamb and the sirloin. The bedroom was blissful. The location is superb for exploring... More

A fabulous meal and stunning value. Tonight's restaurant visit proves there is more to Laugharne than Dylan Thomas. If you are planning a visit you owe it to yourself to book in for culinary delights such as the delicious salt marsh lamb and one one of the best ice creams (Mocca praline) I have ever had the pleasure to eat.... Planned this visit as a final dinner on our week in Laugharne, after reading recommendation in holiday villa blurb. On arrival we were completely smitten with the look of the house and beautiful gardens. Inside is perplexing though, decor does not do justice to the house. The photos convey a certain quirkiness which is in fact not present. Eating in... More

Had a 3 night stay at The Cors. The house is gorgeous and the garden is wonderful. The property is well situated within a 2 minute walk from the centre of Laugharne yet feels as though you are in the middle of the countryside. Nick is a very attentive host and dinner on the Thursday night was superb.

All I'd want from a night away. A comfortable, quiet room in a wonderfully eccentric rambling house in the most beautiful garden grounds. Years of work have made this a special hideaway in the middle of Laugharne. The evening meal was delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and very friendly. Nick, the owner/chef/gardener, was a delightful host and we were made so... More

I have travelled a great deal on business and pleasure so it's a real treat to experience something new, different and completely unexpected. As soon as I walked up the drive I sensed we were going somewhere special and my antenna was not wrong. I am a huge fan of the Bloomsbury set and love the Charleston farmhouse in Sussex... More

Didn't know this place existed until I saw a deal on Travelzoo. What a find! Fabulous food. The portions are very generous and the food is top quality. My hubby absolutely loved the Smoked Haddock brûlée and I had Beef Carpaccio, a favourite of mine and a real treat. We both had the salt marsh lamb for mains which was... More
