Nice, open, grassy, relaxed campsite, in a perfect location for the coastal paths and St Davids is only a 3o min walk. Easy for local hopper buses and seal watching on the way to Whitesands Bay. Real camping, with super views and lots of space. Thank you.

The campsite is about a 30 minute walk from town either by using the road or a path through fields. They ask you to keep tents well spaced out which is good as youre not right next to a stranger. The campsite is really quiet at night, we kept getting woken up by noisy neighbours in the morning but that's...

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, although August Bank Holiday is always busy. Everyone wants to make the most of their short holiday and so up early to catch the tide for kayaking or off to the beach for an early swim.

You can pretty much site your tent anywhere you want. Showers/toilets are cleaned very regularly and there is always hot water in the wash up area. The scenery is amazing. There is a quaint harbour, Porthclais, which has a National Trust Car Park and a kiosk which sells ice cream and the most delicious cakes.

Really great site for position - close to the cliffs for the coast path and to Porthclais harbour for canoeing and water sports. Plenty of space for tents and ideal for children. Amazing views across the whole of St Brides Bay. About a 30 minute walk along a footpath to the centre of St Davids. Just let down by the...

Thank you for your kind review. I am so pleased you appreciated what Porthclais has to offer. The facilities provide for over 500 campers in three separate toilet and shower blocks, so there should be no necessity to queue; you did not report any problems to the office. Next year an additional toilet and shower block will be available.

This is an extensive campsite on the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. The great thing about the site is that you get amazing views and Porth Clais harbour is only a short walk away. St Davids is only a 20 min walk away via a nice path. The site allows dogs but you have to have them under strict control. There are...

Thank you for your kind words. We hope to have a brand new toilet block fully commissioned for next season and then we will be able to modernise the existing block.

We stumbled across this campsite by accident and were not disappointed. This is a large campsite with about six big fields that cater for tents and caravans/mobile homes. The campsite is right on the coast and the fields have stunning views of Pembrokeshire coastline. The Pembrokeshire coastal path skirts the campsite. The facilities were well maintained and clean, although become...

This was our third, and it certainly won’t be our last, visit to Porth Clais Farm Campsite. Not only the location but the simplicity of the set up suits really us well. Once checked in, with the really friendly and helpful owner, there is a vast amount of space (flat too!) on which to camp so ideal for some peace...

Thank you for your helpful review. I think from your comments that you stayed with us over the weekend. Only one toilet block was open as we did not have many guests on site. Three toilet blocks are open when we are busy.

Just back from a lovely family camping trip to porthclais. We haven't been to many campsites but were really happy with this one. Great location, walking distance to pretty little harbour and St Davids, direct access to coast path. Plenty of toilets and showers, clean, warm, appreciated the numerous coat hooks, the rentable ice blocks and bbq stands. Owners were friendly...

I joined a large family that have been coming to the site for years and I wasn't disappointed. The views are spectacular with lovely cliff path walks and a short walk to the harbour. There is so much space to chose from.! Clean shower blocks - you pay 50p but that's the same as other sites I've been too. I...

This is a campsite well off the grid along some tight roads. The owners are nice people and very talkative. Shower blocks are clean but otherwise facilities are basic, you are paying for a bit of flat grass.

You are very lucky to have a piece of flat grass for £7 a night! The fee covers: the cost of mowing the field; the cost of our very hard working cleaners; the cost of toilet rolls and general janitorial supplies; the cost of waste disposal which is now £30 a skip; the cost of the metered water now over...
