This pub has no frills but what a find.! very welcoming.wonderful roast dinner ,clean and the host were so friendly..I really recommend this pub, dont drive past ,stop and go in, you will not be disappointed. It does not seem that attractive as you drive past and somehow you dont seem to know if it is open or not but at the time we went there it was open ( early spring Friday Saturday and Sunday ) Very reasonable and obviously all the locals love it as it has such a friendly atmosphere.

Went for Sunday dinner here and booked for an adult and baby (needing a highchair). When arriving they couldn’t provide me with a highchair for my child. Even though there was one not being used on a reserved table. When asking the owner could I use that one for my chair she firmly told me NO. The staff thought that it was appropriate for my 9 month old daughter to sit in a normal chair. When asking another lady for her highchair as she wasn’t using it. She told me that they have already hounded her about the highchair and that she was fed up of it, so I could have it. When looking at the highchair it was absolutely disgusting didn’t look like it had been cleaned in years. The straps which were supposed to be white were brown and stained with food. The clips which were plastic had bits of stale food on where they haven’t wiped properly. The whole chair needed to be thrown into the washing machine or even better chucked and bought new. I felt so uncomfortable standing in the middle of a restaurant with everyone staring at you. Staff telling you that you had to make do with an ADULT chair. The owner was very unfriendly. Would not recommend this place at all. Won’t be going there again. Don’t know if I’ll go out for a Sunday dinner with my daughter again after that.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, we are sorry to hear you didn’t have a great experience. Upon booking via phone we weren’t made aware that you required a high chair. When you arrived as you have mentioned there wasn’t one available. The high chairs that we did have had already been taken, either currently in use or were at the tables ready for the bookings that had been made, reserving the high chairs. Upon your booking we would had informed you if we had been made aware you required one. We were unable to give you the one that had been reserved that was at the table not being used because the booking was due to come in. If we had given you this high chair, it would had left the booking that had reserved the chair with out one. We can only apologise for the way you were spoken to when you asked for the chair. We understand this wasn’t professional and should not have happened and we are looking into this so it doesn’t happen again. We have investigated into what you have said and we are to understand that you where informed of the high chairs being all out in use and we could not accommodate your needs, again, if we had been notified this on your booking we would have been able to inform you, we do not think it is appropriate for a 9month year old to sit in a adult seat, we also think as the guardian of any children it is your responsibility to make sure you have what you need to make sure your child is safe and was your choice to stay knowing there wasn’t one available. Staff approached another table that had been using a high chair and at that moment it was still in use. When you approached the table the high chair had been used and we can understand their reaction to you when they had already been asked. Looking at the high chair we have no doubt it was dirty due to it already been used, you took it with out our staff cleaning it so it was out of our hands, if you had informed a member of staff they would have happily cleaned this for you. We weren’t given the opportunity to rectified the matter. We can only apologise for how you felt, we have taken note of your comments and we are looking into purchasing more high chairs.

First time visit and we will definitely be coming again. We came to enjoy the 'all you can eat' breakfast. And enjoy we did. Food was well cooked and very tasty. Would really recommend. Good price as well. My friend, who was with us, lost his glasses while we were there. He left his phone number in case they found them and they did phone to say they were found in the car park. This was very good of them. Thank you for an excellent experience. We will be back soon.

We stayed five night at the Welcome Traveller Inn, while exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline and surrounding nature. Our room was in good order, tea and coffee in room, and everything working. New carpets on landing and stairs, and new paint added to the positive impression. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and included an option of a full English, which we enjoyed on more than one occasion. We also enjoyed the evening meals, in particular the home made chicken curry, succulent chicken pieces in a tasty curry sauce, served with fluffy rice. All at very reasonable prices. And last but by no means least, always a friendly smile or word from the proprietors, Babs and Geoff, who did their best to make us feel at home and welcome every single day of our stay.
