I stayed at the Day’s Inn in Magor and I was parked in their car park. Everything was fine with the stay. I have recently received a parking fine though. The thing is there was nothing put on the car when I left to say I had been fined. It’s crazy that they say free parking and then you get a parking ticket weeks later. Others seem to have had the same problem. I sent a message through the Day’s Inn contact page but I have received nothing back yet. If I do not hear anything soon I will have to go through the Ombudsman. All this extra stress is not needed, especially these days.

Brilliant place to stay, much quieter than we expected, only spoilt by the usual idiots with loud brats at 1:30 in the morning slamming ever door they could find as they left for the airport! Otherwise an excellent place to stop over.

I've never stayed in a Days Inn and my first experience in Magor was pretty good. For £50 odd quid and located as standard in a serivce station; the rooms were ok and represented decent value. Location wise there is also the option to walk into town which is only reccommended for the brave and foolhardy but if you fall into either of the latter categories; then get yourself down to the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and location wise you're straight back onto the road in the morning.

Clean, warm, good value for money and a good place to break my journey. Staff very welcoming . Couldn't check in until 3pm because of Covid, understand why. Once in very welcoming, clean and warm. Would stay there again.
