Booked into this motel on 1/11/16 as cheap option before a flight the following day from Bristol. I asked the receptionist about whether I needed to register for parking and was told "No. No need". So really annoyed to have just received a £60 parking fine, more than doubling the cost of the stay. Should have just paid more for...

Booked this as our preferred location was fully booked (rugby!). Large room with comfortable bed. Basic but clean. Dogs welcome. Only downside is limited food options due to location but small town nearby.

we stayed at magor for the Wales Australia rugby match although booking in was not until 1500 the staff went out of their way to get us checked in before 1200 so we could travel to Cardiff in time for the kickoff. A massive THANKYOU TO the lovely "Starr" for getting everything organised

I work nearby - with a lengthy commute - and decided to stay here once a week for the last three weeks. I gave it the benefit of the doubt after the first time and maybe thought I just had a bad room. But I've now seen that they all have mouldy baths, terrible corroded shower controls and lumpy beds....

The only two downsides to this hotel were that the room, whilst clean and spacious, was looking a little tired - especially the bathroom, however the smell of the new carpets in the passageways maybe indicates this is the beginning of a bit of a refurbishment. The second was the availability of somewhere to eat, I must admit to not...

We pulled in at 3.30am, feeling too tired to continue driving safely, and agreed to pay the £59 asked by the pleasant and efficient receptionist. Had I have seen the room first, I would not have stayed. Mouldy bath, dripping shower, exposed wires on the heated towel rail, a noisy fan which I couldn't turn off, could feel the springs...

Dear Jill We are currently going through a small update unfortunately this is taking much longer time than was planned, I understand after other hotels have had the refurbishments there is a lower standard between us.
