Managed to book the night here, they are booked for months, so felt very happy & we weren't disappointed. Food was great, the people were friendly, helpful & went that extra mile for us & the building was amazing. I have never seen so many Orbs in one place. Well worth a visit.

Me & husband popped in for a drink on a sunday & loved the atmosphere & history of the place. With warm cheeks & dutch courage I asked about staying the night & managed to book in the following tuesday! We arrived in Abergavenny, walked the skirrid which was lovely but challenging & I'm still aching now but the views...

Expected more from this establishment . The menu was pretty basic as was the food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It's a lovely old place steeped in history, which is its main attraction, along with the haunted bedroom! It's probably still a nice place to visit and sit outside on a Summer evening

our first visit to the Skirrid Inn. 6 adults 2 well behaved children so not the easiest of groups to cater for but from entry to exit the staff were fantastic. a young gentleman with enviable hair greeted us, catered for our every need and was kindness and helpfulness personified. The food wasn't Michelin but very well presented and tasty....

lovely place. room 2 is said to be the most haunted but on my visit room 1 was fantastic, the cell was cool, bit noisy in there for an investigation but we did get some responses. love the creepy fella on the stairs. like the fact the original hanging beam is still in the building. very friendly and welcoming staff....

This pub is reportedly the oldest pub in Wales at 900 years old. It was lovely. The service was brilliant. So friendly. The meals were fantastic and the history of the place. Wow! There was even a hangmans noose in the pub! somehwhat eerie, but very interesting. Try it out!

We don't live too far away from the Skirrid In and because the food is so good and reasonably priced our visits are becoming more and more frequent!! My friend and I as single mums with teenage kids find this is the perfect reasonably priced place going with freshly made food that can't be beaten I dont think. The kids...

Called in for lunch on a quiet Tuesday in January. Although few people in at lunchtime, we had a very warm welcome and sat by a beautiful fire . The history of this place is quite amazing and well worth trying to read some of the old items displayed about the Inn. The menu looked good and I would class...
