Stayed at this b'n'b for one night before attending a course at a local country house and it was perfect. Idris was welcoming (as was the delicious slice of Victoria sandwich) and the room was short of nothing! Warm, comfortable and with a view of the farm from two lovely windows. Was by myself and just wished I'd had my...

This really was like a home from home. We asked if it was okay if we could arrive between 7 and 8 on Friday evening and this was okay (not all b&bs are so accommodating). There was fresh milk for the tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a welcome slice of cake. The room was large, the...

Nestled at the foot of the Black Mountains, a perfect base for exploring. A lovely welcome from our hosts made even better by a complimentary couple of slices of homemade Victoria Sponge and cup of tea ! Fascinating homely old farmhouse with comfortable well furnished bedroom/ensuite. Everything we needed at hand for our overnight stay and an exceptional Farmhouse breakfast....

We love to come here every year at the end of the summer holidays. The dogs come and a procession of family and friends. We climb mountains, get merry in the Skirrid and on the odd occasion when the sun shines lie by streams and do nothing at all. A wonderful respite from the onslaught of life! The cottages are...

We're just back in London after a wonderful stay at Pen-y-Dre. We were with our three daughters and had the beautiful family room in the attic. It was picture-perfect and we had such a wonderful time. The kids had a great morning playing with all the animals and my husband Richard was so excited by the science fiction / fantasy...

We camped for two nights on the site. We found everyone very pleasant and welcoming. The facilities are perfectly adequate for camping. We had only our tiny converted MPV camper and an awning. The showers are warm, clean and free. The toilets were always clean. There was plenty of soap and toilet roll. The facility for washing up has nice...

Our room was very spacious at the top of the house with lots of information about local activities available. Slices of banana cake were waiting for us in the in-room fridge when we arrived, along with fresh milk for a welcome mug of tea. A large double and a couple of single beds were more than enough for us, and...

My family and I have spent 4 lovely days here, using it as a base whilst we attended a wedding and then enjoyed some of the beautiful countryside. We even brought our dogs with us who loved it just as much. Very comfortable, with everything you'd need for self-catering, and some delicious homemade cake waiting on arrival was a lovely...

Having stayed here for two nights with my dog Leo I can honestly say it is a very relaxed family farm. Richard chauffeured me too and from the offa's dyke and I enjoyed his laid back attitude to life. The farm is in its 5th generation and provides a good honest breakfast and reminds of the old farms I read...

We rented both holiday cottages for a week and we also used the bed and breakfast for the week. From the first point of booking to the moment we said goodbye we had a wonderfully friendly service from Gwen, Idris and their family. The children were able to access the farm, which is in front of the cottages and they...
