What a delight to be picked up from a hard day's walking the Offa's Dyke path and whisked back to Eyarth Station. Within minutes a cold cider over ice was served in the sunshine. Michelle proved to be an excellent cook for dinner and breakfast. The building has a unique history which is reflected in the artwork and memorabilia around...

Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to give you a refreshing drink after your long walk in the beautiful weather and I am so glad you enjoyed your evening meal. We are trying to increase the amount of train memorabilia, it's good to know it's appreciated.

Michelle and Jim run a lovely B&B with wonderful views, we only stayed for 2 nights, but would have loved to have stayed longer. They are such lovely friendly people who made our stay feel like home, nothing was to much trouble. Rooms are comfy, clean and quiet. Our son got to feed the lambs in the field next door...

Thank you so much for your fantastic review. We are so glad that you felt welcome. We try hard to make all of our guests feel at home. Mr Lily (our dog) loves to welcome new friends to Eyarth Station and I an certain that he enjoyed the fuss you and your family bestowed upon him. It would be lovely...

Excellent B&B. Very friendly owners and made us feel at home straight away. Even gave us a lift in to the next town to help us out. Very clean and good rooms. If you're in the area, definitely stay here.

Thank you for your review. We always try to help our guests out when they stay with us, particularly when they have a function to attend and have a tight schedule to stick to. We are happy you enjoyed your short time with us.

This pet friendly B&B is a converted railway station with plenty of history. Our stay was only one night in this very quiet and peaceful location, a couple of miles south of Ruthin. On arrival we had a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was extreme large but only had a shower. The bed...

Thank you for your review. We're happy that you had a 'perfect stay'. We do enjoy seeing our guests relax and enjoy their surroundings. The Mallard does have a large bathroom and putting a bath in there with a free standing shower is on our 'to do' list. As we only moved in last year we have a lot of...

There was a group of 13 of us all together spread over 4 rooms. We had the family room but they were all lovely. Beautifully clean and very comfortable beds. Absolutely great hosts who were friendly, helpful and lovely with the children. The children enjoyed the outdoor pool but I was not up to the challenge as it is unheated!...

Thank you for your review with lovely comments. We are always happy to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible, including helping out with the children. Unfortunately as you say, the pool is not heated, so not many people brave the water, but like to sit around it and enjoy the sun ( when we have...

The owners were friendly and helpful--even Eli the dog. We enjoyed sitting and chatting with them. Breakfast was great (they were able to accommodate my daughter's need to be gluten free), the room was comfortable and well-appointed. Close to town to drive in for some dinner but felt like we were in our own little country world at the B&B....

Thank you for your review. We're glad you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. We do try to accommodate guests with various dietary needs and are glad that your daughters' needs we met. Ely is always happy to meet and greet new guests, he enjoys the attention! We're sorry about the Wi-fi signal, that's a drawback of being...

We stayed one night during our walk along Offa's Dyke. The location is very special, and the history of Eyarth Station quite fascinating. We were comfortable in our accommodations, and the food was wholesome. Pool wasn't available during our visit.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you found the history of the station interesting, that was one of the reasons we chose to move here, we were fascinated too. I am sorry you were disappointed about the pool. Unfortunately as it is not heated not many people choose to take a dip as it is so cold. It...

We had been recommended Eyarth Station for a long weekend break and were not disappointed. It is everything you could wish for. A lovely large bedroom with everything provided. The location is superb, with views across the pool to the countryside beyond. Our little dog Jamie was made welcome by all including Mr Lilly who is a dear chap. Breakfast...

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay here at Eyarth Station. Mr Lily enjoys meeting the guests too, he's not bothered if they have two or four legs! We would love you to come back again with Jamie and enjoy the area as you didn't get to see the mountains properly and there is so much more...

We stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding in Ruthin. We found Eyarth Station to be a delightful place to stay. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Thank you for your kind review. We do try to allow early access to our rooms for occasions such as weddings. We have been in a situation ourselves where we had to change for a wedding in public toilets! It wasn't the best start to our day, so we fully appreciate the need to use the room early and enjoy...

Travelling with friends and stayed in this gem of a B and B. Peaceful location yet accessible to north Wales and the north west. The hosts were hospitable and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
