On arriving we found the steps that led from the car park to the cottage poorly maintained without a handrail, surely this is a matter for health and safety! Once inside the cottage we found yet another set of steps down into the living area.Neither steps were mentioned in the description of the cottage, so anybody with slight walking dificulties...

I stayed in the Crown for two weeks in July, we had amazing weather and found it difficult to move off the terrace, the view is hypnotising. The cottage is history itself and obviously well loved family home. There are two bedrooms both en-suite. There is a fabulous view from every window. Superb location and we enjoyed it so much...

Great cottage in a wonderful location. We were extremely lucky with the weather for our week in Anglesey but we would have loved staying here anyway. The cottage was cute and the twin room in particular was much nicer than we imagined it would be because of the lack of interior photos on the website. We spent lots of our...

We have stayed in both the cottages many times over the years. We have two boys (now teenagers), a dog, two canoes and a small boat and the location is perfect for an active holiday in the summer. When we have been in the winter it is the perfect place to come back to after a coastal walk. We have...

We have just returned from a most enjoyable weeks holiday at The Crown cottage. This was our second visit, and once again found it to be a charming, well equipped house. The bedrooms (both with en suites), are cosy, with beautiful sea views, and the newly installed double glazing ensures a peaceful night's sleep. I do not think the position could...

Lovely cottages with lots of period features. Stayed in both at different times. Great value- not much more than a caravan & much more comfortable. Beautiful views over the sea to the mountains of snowdonia. Pretty garden at the back.

Where to begin with our experience; I should just make clear that my family and I have visited several cottages in the Anglesey area during the past 20 years or so we feel our review is fair and based on a sound knowledge; Upon checking the cottage on arrvial, we discovered there was only sleeping arrangements for a party of...

I was very sad to read the review posted on this site about a holiday taken by a family in our cottage. Although the initial enquiry was for the Anchor the Crown was the only cottage available for that week, which was confirmed by me in writing after receiving the deposit and again after receiving the balance. I also understood...
