Great building. We stayed in the lodge which was very small. Requested a bath but got just a bath and no shower. Breakfast was incorrect twice. However... I'd go back but stay in the castle itself. The location is great. Very peaceful.

Stayed here overnight from Saturday to Sunday. A lovely quirky building with many nooks and crannies. The staff were very friendly and efficient and dealt with my requests swiftly. One or two drawbacks - the first being my initial room which was a Deluxe Room but next door to the kitchen and far too noisy. I asked to be moved...

Relaxing and charming with professional but friendly staff. Excellent showers, comfy bed, robes and hairdryers in the classic room. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Not cheap but reasonable for the quality.

The chateau is stunning, in a beautiful location with amazing views. However, we felt let down by the price of the hotel versus the quality of the rooms. The first night, our room in the lodge was tiny - if i'd have known how small, I wouldn't have booked. The second night we were moved into the main hotel and...

In a nutshell, the decor is fabulous, the staff are superbly well trained and friendly, and the food is great. We especially enjoyed our private wine tasting event with Aziz, and dinner, where the oysters were as good as any I've ever tasted and blackened monkfish was truly delicious. Thoroughly recommend it.

Fabulous break , architecturally quirky from the turrets to the large dragon head in the small front car park. You enter on the third floor and into a small reception with welcoming warming open fire. Great choice of lounges all appropriately decorated as well as a small bar. Sheltered winter balconies as well as quirky touches such as the wine...

When we arrived we were given a free room upgrade and could not have wished for a nicer room. The dukes suite was beautiful and quiet, with stunning views. The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful, and breakfast was lovely. We ordered room service which came quickly and tasted great.
