Great two course meal and made very welcome. Very quiet as it was just after Feb half-term but the pub was serving food and had a roaring fire going. They even let himself have the football on the TV. Lovely mains and desserts, great service and a pleasant environment. Was last here Summer 2016 and happy to return again. Gorgeous...

32 of us spent an afternoon celebrating my sons birthday. Food was great and the staff were very accommodating. We were allowed to bring a birthday cake for dessert. Having eaten here on numerous occasions I can highly recommend.

Our young teenage daughter enjoys a curry but not to spicy, having asked a member of staff when placing the order if the curry was spicy she decided to have the curry as she was assured that it was not a spicy curry, however as soon as she tasted the curry she was disheartened by the fact that the curry...

We had a comfortable twin room with very clean en suite facilities and well worth the money! We met Gwen who really takes a pride in her work and more than happy to help in any way she can! The breakfast was sufficient but could of been improved with a little bit more of a variety of fresh fruit to...

After hearing good reviews, we decided to go for a family meal to Tafarn y Rhos. What a disappointment it turned out to be. When we arrived there were no staff to be seen, and when we were eventually served, the lady behind the bar was rude and absolutely hopeless....my 4 year old could have done a better job! I...

Wife and I popped in for something to eat. Had the Sunday roast which was very nice. The pub itself has nice decor and is clean. Love the log burner! All in all a very good experience and reasonable value for money. Will visit again. Thanks

2 Welsh witches running the front of bar - neither smiled or said thanks during purchasing Of food and drink - both left the bar for a smoke only to be staring intimidating at the customers - pint was flat - but so was the service - won't be coming back -

We have visited here twice in the last month. Food was really lovely- all freshly cooked & large portions. I wanted one of the chicken specials but they had run out - the menu was changing the following day so the chef offered to do me Hunters chicken from the new menu- it was gorgeous! I had it with mash...

Booked for one night via a late booking web site. Arrived and checked in. Room and bathroom were clean and well decorated. (Think the place had recently been refurbished) We ate in the restaurant that evening. Food was lovely and well presented. Breakfast the following morning was also lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights really comfy clean and friendly. Left a foogle chrome behind and they posted it back. Would visit again day the pub is good also. Not much more to stay 5 stars. Nice little village down the road to walk to in the evening.
