Firstly, what's good? Garden is gorgeous, it's a nice half mile walk to a fab beach. They put my champagne in the fridge until I requested it. What was poor? Someone else wrote that service was a bit Faulty Towers and I couldn't agree more. My sister had booked 5 rooms as it was a family 'do'. She specifically asked... More

We enjoyed our stay albeit the customer service was on the faulty towers scale. We found that side of things amusing though. Comfy beds, fluffy towels and amazing surroundings. Food was delicious but weird silence at the evening meal prompted us to eat out on our 2nd night. Some low music would've helped it feel less like a wake. A... More

Having booked a stay at the Ty Dderw in Moelfre and being told that they couldn't accommodate the 5 night we had booked only 3, phoned the Hotel and spoke with Paul, he said they had a family room available which we booked, he phoned me the next day to say they had a cancellation and we could have a... Just returned from a great weekend here. The hotel is in a lovely situation with gorgeous gardens and views. The sunsets are amazing from the garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we had a four poster bed and garden view.We were lucky to have a shower, but my friends who had the other room only had a hand held... More

Very welcoming & comfortable. Hotel in a great location overlooking Cemaes Bay. The view at sunset is particularly good. Plenty of room in the carpark. Exterior of the hotel looked like it was in need of some redecoration. I believe that this is in constant progress. On entering the hotel your impression changed completely. Quite a grand entrance hall. To... More

We called at the hotel for an evening meal after being down on the beach for most of the day, the welcome was quite friendly, and we were seated very quickly, as it was very quiet there. There were 8 of us in total, and were given 2 tables, it would have been nice to have had one large table... More

We stayed at Gadlys Country House last weekend and the owners couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is spotless, no dust and dirt, crisp white linen. I particularly liked the restored furniture in our bedroom. The hotel is quirky with real character. The breakfast room and hall/reception area have been recently decorated to a high standard too. We would... More

This hotel is in a lovely setting, and although the interior is a bit dated it is a lovely hotel with a family friendly feel. Pat and Paul really look after you, the food is lovely and they sell a good selection of wine and beer. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Gadly's to family and friends.

We stayed for 3 nights and was made to feel welcome. Our bedroom was clean and we had a view of the garden. Breakfast was included and enjoyable. We also ate our evening meals in their restaurant. The menu was adequate and all 3 meals were cooked really well. Thank you to the chef. We enjoyed the Greek night on... More

Great stay at Gadlys, arrived late and was able to eat a fantastic meal, everyone really friendly and the rooms were excellent. Stayed in a family room that had loads of character as does the overall hotel. All the staff are really friendly and accommodating, Lovely place, would really recommend a stay, we will be back. Thanks for everything.
