Booked this hotel after seeing on Travelzoo. Central in Beaumaris. Car park at the rear but hard to find - you need to turn down a street that has a dead end sign and the car park is behind a big yellow wall. There was plenty of room when we were visiting but it was in November from Monday to...

This is one of the most sociable hotels we know. It's owner Hazel, who's in full control of stearing the ship is a colourful and well known character in Beaumaris. We booked a short weekend break and took the room pictured above (two night, DBB). Don't expect country house treatment and you'll have a fabulous time. We were 'over' well fed...

We booked the Bishopsgate with no previous knowledge of the hotel. It is perhaps in the shadow of the larger hotels in Beaumaris. The hotel is in an old building on the main street. Being old, some of the rooms are small but nicely kitted out with a very comfortable bed in ours. The highlight of the stay was dinner....

Lovely hotel in the centre of Beaumaris with car park. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The building is old so full of character such as the residents lounge. We ate in the restaurant and the food was exceptional, well cooked and presented. Probably the best meal we've had on Anglesey.

Arrived for a reunion break. Bit unsure at first thought the hotel was a bit tired. Old would sound better. The rooms were OK, The staff could not have been more attentive We had booked DBB ,.No special menu you could eat off any of the three menus. The food was excellent

We arrived a little early for check in, that wasn't a problem at all. Our luggage was taken to our room for us and we were settled in. Period furniture all in the style of the building and a lovely, original chippendale staircase. Lovely and friendly staff made sure we were settled and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. The...

Really lovely warm welcome when we arrived, very nice ambience. Our room was a good size with a four poster bed, nice en suite and some nice little touches like a decanter of sherry and some chocolate as well as the usual tea/coffee etc. The bed is super comfortable with excellent quality bedding for a very good nights sleep! We...

We returned here for dinner while on holiday recently in Anglesey, having been here last year. The food was as good as we remembered it. Our main course was sea bass which had been caught that day and was delicious. The dining room was busy on a Monday night in October, which speaks for itself!

We rolled up one afternoon on the off chance of a room, and got the last one available - on the top floor, under the eaves. If you're reasonably tall, it's potentially a problem - but I'm used to low ceilings, and I was fine. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a window seat from which you can...
