Had afternoon tea and scones in the garden with our two dogs. Fresh water bowls were already placed in the garden terrace area. Friendly efficient service and delicious scones cream and jam. Watched the eager gulls circling on a lovely summer's day.

The hotel looked amazing. Having booked the trip several months ago, we had been very much looking forward to staying and lots of the reviews seem very positive. We stayed in room 222 which looked out onto an inner roof section of the building complete with orange crate. The room itself looked in need of refurbishment and there was a...

We spent a long weekend in early May at the Bulkeley hotel and enjoyed exploring Anglesey. We had the Victoria Suite which over looks the Menai Straits and Snowdonia beyond which is s spectacular view (weather permitting). The room is spacious with a comfortable bed and the bathroom includes a roll top bath and separate shower. The hotel is situated...

Whilst staying the week at a holiday property in Beaumaris, Anglesey, we went for Sunday Lunch in The Bistro at The Bulkeley Hotel. We chose The Bistro rather than the more formal dining room here where two and three-course Sunday Lunches were being served. We only wished to have a main course and a drink each.I had the Scampi Meal...

Beware of the car park and the edging stones around the circular garden on the sea front side of the hotel. I had a nasty trip and fall and the staff member was disinterested in my accident and failed to produce the requested accident report book, offering two blue catering plasters and a scrap of A5 paper as an alternative....

Fantastic location right opposite pier and boat trips. Views over Menai Straights and Snowdonia are nothing short of superb. We had a one night stay with elderly parents. They had room 108 with sea view. A superb view and very spacious. We had 107 with sea view. Room OK, nice new shower , but the bed was rock hard. Very...

Stopped at the coffee lounge with Billy the springer spaniel. Really nice coffee served promptly and efficiently. Called back later and had a light lunch from the brunch menu. Not cheap but very nice. Sat outside as the weather was warm and sunny. Couldn't resist the ice cream which was excellent. Good to find such a classy establishment which is...

Called off the street for Sunday Lunch and was offered either a table in the Bistro or Restaurant. We chose the restaurant and were served by a group of young, helpful and enthusiastic waiters. The Menu was four courses, including the choice of roasts plus coffee for £17.95 which, given the quality and quantity of the food, was exceptional value....
