This ancient hotel has a history that goes back to 1706, when there was a busy trade between Liverpool and Beaumaris. It is a real gem of a place, a handsome Georgian fronted Hotel. The hotels main feature is it's Admiral's Tavern, filled with a wonderful collection of nautical memorabilia and seafaring items, including timber from HMS Victory, Nelson's famous flagship. The hotels accommodation consists of fourteen bedrooms, including family rooms and four poster rooms, all en suite and with digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities. Wireless broadband is available throughout most of the hotel & there is a car park to the rear of the hotel. Food is an important part of the hotels appeal, with a most tempting and varied menu, prepared by our Chef, from local produce. All hotel accommodation includes full breakfast. The perfect hotel for a stay of any length. If you are visiting Anglesey, North Wales for a holiday, short break, or here on business, we can offer first class food and accommodation. We also have a fine old Georgian style house available as self-catering accommodation for holiday lets, in Beaumaris. The hotel is in the centre of the historic and unique town of Beaumaris on the Island of Anglesey, minutes from the spectacular scenery of Snowdonia, seven golf courses and just yards from the Menai Straits, with great fishing and sailing. This splendid old hotel has great character and fits everyone's idea of what a British country hotel should be like.

Best food in North Wales - at least based on our 6 night stay in Betws-Y-Coed! We visited Beaumaris Castle and decided to come here for lunch. It was so good we made the long trip back two days later just to have dinner. Yes there’s cheaper options nearby but I can assure anyone reading this that this place offers great value for money for its food. It’s food is the highest standard and portions are generous. The menu is great with a wide choice and variety. Service was also the best we had during our entire stay, all staff are very attentive and welcoming. Thanks for the experience.

We booked the Liverpool easily online and on arrival was shown straight to our table, Staff are really friendly and efficient, the restaurant/ bar is really nice and there is a nice atmosphere, we had starters which were lovely especially the nachos, and a lovely main course the kids menu is really good our daughter had the gammon which was really tasty and a good size portion, we were too full for pudding but the menu looked very nice, really enjoyed our meal and would definitely return the staff are all working really hard through different times

I stayed the Liverpool Arms with my 16 year old son for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful and packed with original features. I used to stay here with my parents when I was a child and whilst it's been tastefully refurbished over the years, it's maintained it's charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The towels and bed linen were excellent quality. We had breakfast every morning. The produce was top quality and beautifully presented. We dined in the restaurant on two of the nights during our stay. The menu was huge and there was a great choice of different dishes. The portion sizes were great and everything was very good value for money. The thing that stands out at the Liverpool Arms is the Staff. EVERYONE was very friendly without being overpowering and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very special throughout our stay and all of the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs! Whatever it is you are doing Liverpool Arms, keep up the good work - you have a hotel to be very proud of! :)

They were obviously very busy and didn't have many staff on. The poor guy ran past us as we were waiting to get seated 'I'll be with you in a moment'. We waited for around 5 minutes then a young girl came and asked us if we had been spoken to we explained the guy had ran past and said just a moment. She went okay and walked off. I think had that of been me knowing my colleague was super busy I would of taken it upon myself to seat people waiting but anyway.. whilst we were waiting a queue then formed with 2 more sets of people. The gent then came back cleaned a table and sat us down then continued to check on other tables. It was literally like he was the only one working. I felt like I wanted to pop on an apron and give him a hand. We had one lot of drinks as staff to ask for a drink we're few and far between. The vibe was nice your classic pub. They do allow pets so a few dog's were around. The food was nice, especially the chips. If you do good chips you've basically stole my heart! Chicken burger was nice a big portion too.

It was the last night of a little break for three young ladies who have special needs and they asked to do something special, a pub! I booked out table on line. We were not disappointed. Although we arrived fifteen minutes early ( the ladies were too excited to wait!) we were given a lovely corner table and treated with such compassion and kindness and it was perfect. The food was amazing, and big portions. They didn’t finish, keeping room for pudding! They finished them! Delicious 😊 We were treated wonderfully and will certainly return when in Anglesey again.
