When you treat yourself to a king size room for a romantic getaway only to find 2 worn single beds pushed together it's not great. So uncomfortable and woke both mornings in pain. Bedside light didn't work. Food lovely, staff friendly although service somewhat slow. Beautiful area but won't stay this hotel again.

We stayed for 1 week at this hotel in May 2016. The welcome was fantastic The rooms were very good The food was far far better than I expected, indeed it was that good that we dined in the hotel for 5 nights The icing on the cake was the real ale served in the bar

Beautiful 2 night stay at the Trecastell. Fantastic sea views although we had room 12 and would have loved a bigger window to drink in the views. The room felt a little small and there was not a dressing table to sit at and get ready but it was lovely and modern clean and fresh. We had an evening meal... More

Just returned from a 2 night break, staying at The Trecastle, which was just how we like a hotel. Everything clean, nice and warm, friendly staff, great breakfast but, best of all, a stunning view over Bull Bay, both from our bedroom and from the breakfast room. After a day's birding, we had a very refreshing pint in the bar.... More

The Trecastell hotel met all our requirements on paper. On arrival we were a little taken aback by the stairs (4 flights) and two of our party needed oxygen, but the views from out well appointed rooms were breathtaking, and actually reminiscent of cornwall. Comfy beds and Tea and Coffee facilities all to hand, the bathrooms would have benefitted from... More
