We have been coming to this area for many years and would usually stay here, however this time we just came for a meal. We started off with a lovely bottle of cava on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden. We then retreated into the bright and airy restaurant for our first class meal. We all had fish and chips...

A special couple of days for our 30th Anniversary and we chose to stay in the Castell rather than the hotel for the size of the rooms and it didn't disappoint. Staying in Castle 1, the room was big, bright and overlooked the walled garden and even in the rain looked amazing. It had a min kitchenette hidden behind double...

Went to a friends wedding at castell Deudraeth and this place really has the wow factor. Outside it is amazing walking through the doors you are greeted with an open log fire even in July this was welcoming after coming in from a damp summers day. Staff very attentive and wanting to help out. The 'bedroom' (term loosely used!) was...

Arrived at the hotel to check in, met by very friendly reception staff, shown straight to our room. Wow and what a room , we had a nice kitchen area and sofa . We were with my 12 year old son and noticed there was no extra bed , so we thought we would go and explore the village and...

Went for a lovely lunch with my family and had an amazing table overlooking the beautiful gardens. The restaurant staff were very attentive and was a great way to spend my Anniversary and the food was very good and will definitely visit again soon.

Very nice food, beautiful setting, polite and helpful staff. We sat outside in the garden. Service was a bit slow there, because it was a very busy evening, but the food was definitely worth it. The garden is beautiful with beautiful views.

Booked as part of our weekend stay in Portmeirion, we didn't really know what to expect. On arrival we were greeted in a warm and friendly way, guided to the lounge area where we were given the cocktail menu and our order was taken. It was a really nice way to start the evening instead of ordering at the table....

We had lunch here before going down to Portmeirion Village. The staff were just brilliant. We arrived to find the car park full, so the concierge tried to find us a space in the overfill car park, couldn't, but didn't let that deter him. He squeezed us into a corner, then took us to our table, and took our order....

We had dinner here as a party of 9, 4 adults, 5 children. Service was very good, and the food quality was fantastic. Certainly the best lamb main course we had in Wales. Stand-out item was the scallop, wasabi and chorizo starter which - whilst not for the faint-hearted - is the only starter I've had where I've immediately booked...
