I booked this hotel for my daughter and boyfreind who were hoping to stay for a family get together. When they arrived, tired and ready for a room they gave the booking details and NO ROOM was booked. We had received an email, a reference number and paid. The hotel staff were nice and tried to help saying there had...

Nice hotel staff were really nice and helpful only thing bed was a bit uncomfortable and for a double seemed bit small. Second Wetherspoons I have stayed in both really clean and very competitively priced so would definitely stay in a another one of their hotels

We popped into Monmouth for a look around and something to eat on our way home from the Wye Valley, and selected the local Wetherspoons outlet for a good value meal as one can normally expect in a Wetherspoons outlet. Reasonable food all round, except the steak and lamb on the mixed grill were a little too well done for...

I booked here because my wife, Kids and I like to walk and I had heard that Monmouthshire is lovely for that especially along the wye. The hotel was excellent value for money at £31.20 a room per night which no other in that area even got close to. It was clean and tastefully decorated, a bit warm at night...

Stayed here on Friday night after seeing a fab show in The Savoy Theatre. Highly recommend Al Murray. As far as the hotel is concerned the receptionist was very helpful. The lay out of the hotel was confusing when you wanted to access the bar with lots of steps, going up and down. The room itself was clean, I did...

If it were not for the receptionist I would be giving a much lower score. I cannot give more, as this is a Weatherspoons pub, not a 4/5 star hotel. Our first impression of our room when we walked in was not good. I won't go into it in detail. When I went straight back to reception and reported it,...

This hotel & restaurant are part of the Wetherspoons chain. I use them frequently and rarely have a cause to complain. This venue makes a great stopping off place when travelling between South Wales and the Midlands and the North. The town is very pleasant with good shops and parking at the south end of the Town and on Monow...

We went here for lunch not realising at first that it was part of a chain. Not being terribly familiar with Wetherspoon's as we don't live in the UK, we were confused by the way you have to get a table number before ordering food. We worked it out and I ordered a curry which turned out when it came...
