We stayed for two nights with Heulwen and Andy in early September, and took room 2. They were such welcoming hosts, and struck the ideal balance between friendly and interested in their guests, but not too over-powering. Breakfast was lovely, a good mix of fruits, cereals and yoghurts, with toast and homemade jams, and the full cooked if you wished....

We were welcomed by Heulwen and Andy with a pot of tea and biscuits on arrival. Very lovely people and so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and the house is spotless. The cooked breakfast was delicious and filling. The house is right by Coed y Brenin mtb trails and within a few miles of Dolgellau town and Barmouth with...

I was on a multi-day cycling event when I started having bike / body difficulties and asked my wife to see if there were any B&B's near me with availability. Seems she made an amazing choice, because I was given such a friendly and hospitable welcome that I felt better pretty much instantly. Despite being utterly soaked to the bone...

Heulwen and Andy were perfect hosts, and from the minute we walked up their driveway, we felt at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were offered a cup of tea as soon as we had walked in. Heulwen Guest House is great for walkers and mountain bikers, and it was no problem to leave our mountain bike locked...

Heulwen Guest House is in the tiny village of Llanfachreth in Snowdonnia & is owned and run by Heulwen and Andy. From the minute you arrive you don't feel as if you're just entering 'accommodation' but rather that you're their guests as they are so warm and welcoming. The place is really spacious and immaculate with large, light and airy...

Great b and b and lovely friendly hosts. As it seems that their guests come back time and again, I've no need to say any more really, apart from the fact that we hope to visit again when in this beautiful area (if they have a vacancy!)

Everything is perfect about this place, trust us! Me and my wife stayed here for our weekend of hiking in Snowdonia and if we come back it is going to be the same place we choose. The room had a very comfortable bed and epic view. The toilet was spotless. The breakfast was amazing and tasty. And the husband and...

We are a mature, overactive couple of seasoned travellers from australia who were turned away from another b and b close by, despite a confirmed booking. We were sooo pleased to end up staying with heulwen and andy who were superb hosts. We planned for one night but stayed for three. The place was spotless, the gardens and the views...

We were looking for somewhere to stay for the weekend whilst we did some mountain biking around Coed Y Brenin. This B and B is in a great location for this and caters for Mountain Bikers. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. The whole place is spotlessly clean and has fantastic views. The owners...
