We were walking the Offa's Dyke and had advised Dave that we would be at the car park around 3:00pm. We were late but he still checked on us and drove us to the Inn. Note--hikers do not walk the road to the Inn from the Car Park. It is dangerous with no shoulder. Dave is the new manager and...

Decor and food from a bygone era. Party buffet with processed food and undestinguishable sandwiches, bland and without any real taste. Long wait to get a drink at the bar due to lack of staff, who when available didnt know how to poor a beer properly. The place desperately needs a make over....decor and culinary! Wont be back any time...

We visited the Griffin many times a few years ago but it changed hands and went downhill. As it has recently changed hands again and are offering a 2 course meal for £7.95 we thought we would give it another try. We (5 of us) were very glad we did. The whole place was light and airy and the host...

we got a warm welcome from Ames and were shown to our room, we were asked what time we wanted breakfast, we felt very welcome, like being in a friends home. The room was a little old looking but was clean as was the bathroom, the bed was comfortable but there were only 3 pillows (these were quite flat) on...

We booked this pub as it was situated at a convienenant stop off point on the Offas Dyke Path. When booking I was quoted £50 for a twin room b&b. No deposit was taken or requested and no conformation email was received despite two requests. This did not bode well! When we arrived we were greeted by Ben who was...
