We stayed for one night in the myfanwy room with brass bed. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. Pleasant friendly staff, excellent evening meal. Just a very short walk into the town. Very narrow road out of town to get to the hotel however only a very short drive so no problem. We would loved to have...

We stayed here 3 years ago and loved it so much we booked the same room for a return trip. The hotel is very stylish and yet homely in feel. Despite it being February and raining we used the outside jacuzzi (we took wine out with us) The hotel now does food and this was very tasty - the breakfast...

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great stay. The place is amazing - very comfy and homely plus the hot tub is a bonus. The staff are great. Angela holds the fort well, looked after us faultlessly and was lovely. Thanks a lot.

My partner and I have stayed at the Ffynnon on a number of occasions and truely love it. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, the bathrooms luxurious and the beds fit for kings. Fantastic place. Staff could not be more helpful and accomodating. Food was great too.

Perfect room - as a family of four, we felt incredibly comfortable in Hazel, where we were able to cosy up together when we wanted - or have our own space. The bath was fab. Perfect base - we were able to do so much from Dolgellau. Wander the town; horse-ride along the beach at Fairmouth; dips our toes in...

Difficult to find and tiny roads which should be mentioned on the website - even when checking in it was mentioned that we were the only couple that week that had not had to phone to find them. Poor service, only one towel and no bath mat in bathroom and no phone in cradle to call reception in the room...

We stayed here for three days over New Year, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fynnon - friendly staff team and a beautifully finished, up-market place to stay. There are good restaurants and excellent cafes a short walk away in Dolgellau, and so much to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommended: Mawddach Trail, Aberglaslyn walk, Cadair.

The large character house is beautifully decorated and a delight to see. 'Emily' the very spacious and light room we stayed in had a problem with the heating / leaking radiator but was not bothered by it. A small shared utility/kitchen was available to keep our packed lunches/provisions for our hikes. The hallways displayed pieces from local artists. The staff...

Ffynnon is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are fabulously decorated, and immaculately clean. The service is really friendly, great breakfast and the whole experience is really peaceful and welcoming. We totally recommend this hotel, it's a lovely place to relax and a great base from which to enjoy the outstanding beauty of Snowdonia.
