Second time here and further improvements mean this hotel is even better. It did not have a dog but the ones here were not a problem. Only problem was the bathroom, can't think why they have to be across the corridor. Ok for a bloke but not great for my sister, staying in another room. Great walk down near the...

Stayed one night with our dog and were happy with our room, found the staff very helpful and friendly. We left a charger behind and they posted it the next day! The dinner in the hotel was the christmas menu and was enjoyable.

It is my Wife Vicki's birthday on 30th Dec so I decided to take her to The Ship in Dollgellau to celebrate and also stay for New Year's Eve. The hotel is very well designed with a warm welcoming contemporary feel. We have stopped here before on several occasions after long and stunning walks, for drinks, coffee and supper and...

From the minute we drove up to The Royal Ship I was instantly impressed, we parked the car in the hotel parking area and went to check in. I was just as pleased when we stepped inside, the hotel is decorated perfectly and finished to high standard with a modern feel. We stayed in room 110 which is just as...

Living in barmouth we visited friends and decided to stay in the hotel instead of driving home! It's the first time we have been there for a few years. The transformation was amazing. Food was excellent and the staff were happy and friendly. The rooms were just like a boutique hotel you would expect in London. For me it's a...

The Royal Ship has lovely decor, very hardworking & helpful staff and a good central location. We chose to have a room without an ensuite and found that we were above the bar in a Saturday night with some loud singing coming from what we assume were a local rugby team below... as we were after a good night's sleep...

After a long day driving the back roads we came to this very pleasant accomodation. The family room was great and the meals were good quality pub fare. It was very central and ideally located to explore. Kids are for a pound as they had a promo on and breaky was good.

Lovely hotel. Great clean room. Lovely location. Great bar too. Only real complaint is the car park which is way too small but fortunately i got a space. Other than that it was very good value and would definitely return.

The staff were lovely and helpful, the room was clean and cosy abd even though the private bathroom was separate it was clean and spacious.
