I had a one night stay here whilst on a golfing trip having stayed here in the past. The hotel has new owners, it offered good quality then and it is still very good. Oddly I ended up staying in the same room as before. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower very good. The room had...

Thank you very much for your review, We totally understand your downside point regarding breakfast starting at 8am only, the reason we don't change this to earlier is that we don't want the noise of the extractors in the kitchen to disturb those guests who wish to lie in. I am pleased that we were at least able to provide...

We love Criccieth and with The Caerwylan have now found somewhere "proper" to stay. Our friends came earlier in the year and only stayed by chance but were so impressed they persuaded us to join them for Birthday celebrations just this week. The hotel has been beautifully upgraded and the new owners just exude enthusiasm and friendliness. (We even enjoyed...

For the second time this year we have stayed at the Caerwylan. Although it has changed owners it hasn't changed in essence. New owners are Michael and Frances who hail from South Africa. Two charming people who have, I suspect, boundless energy and enthusiasm. Nothing has really changed. Well maybe the food is a little better but it was excellent...

Absolutely wonderful overnight stay , from fixing our mistake in booking a single room to a gourmet evening meal at the last minute nothing was too much . We stayed for 2 days and loved it, one of the best hotels we have stayed in, staff are very friendly, rooms with seaview are beautiful. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends. This has been our second visit to the hotel and I still think it is the best hotel on the beach for views
