Booked for a 4 night stay - believing all rooms were sea view and four star standard. Shown to a second floor sea facing room which was 'dank' . It had no complete on-suite - sink/hand basin at the side of the bed and not in the ensuite. This was a cupboard made into an ensuite and hardly big enough...

We were totally unsurprised by the scurrilous and mendacious review posted by this “gentleman”. This person was part of party of four who displayed a complete lack of concern for anybody else, and I asked them on more than one occasion to be quiet when going to bed, which request was ignored. Perhaps his irritation at my polite request is...

Had a 2 night stay in this family run guest house. Rooms very clean lovely lounge and bar and friendly staff. The breakfast is good the time window for breakfast is a bit short but it encourages you to get up out of bed and explore the beautiful local area. We will be back.

Situated on a corner location right on the seafront and within a 15 minute walk into the town centre. This hotel has ample parking as the seafront carpark can be used as well. Older type house with character, the single bedroom was quite large and clean with a very comfortable bed, coffee making facilities and a seaview. The hotel has...

We had originally booked for 3 nights, but as we were enjoying the break so much we enquired about an extra night. They were able to accommodate us & in the same room. The hotel is in an excellent location and everything is spotless.. We received a lovely friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble. Our room was fabulous with an...

Brian was a very friendly and imformative host, the whole guest house is spotless, quiet and in a perfect position for views over the bay. Two little gripes we did think it was a tad dear but I get the impression the whole of Criccieth is on a par, and we found it strange having the hand basin in the...

The hotel has an ideal situation at the end of the West Parade with a side road leading up to the main Portmadog road thus avoiding the steepish climb of the road near the castle. There are no ground floor rooms and the stairs may be a problem with people with walking difficulties. My recently refurbished room(no 5 )is the ideal...

This is a good place if you want a comfy place with breakfast and dinner options at a respectable price if visiting the Snowdonia mountain park or Pwllheli for the steam trains to Caernarfon. Comfortable bedrooms and great views straight across the bay towards the Lynn peninsula from the lounge and dining room. Be prepared to think about the details...

We stayed in two connected adjoining rooms at the Abereistedd on our visit to zip world. This configuration is very difficult to find. From the moment we walked in the owner was friendly and helpful, sensitive to his guests' comfort and full of advice on where to try for a meal . There were many nice touches about the accommodation-...

Recently returned from a two night break at The Abereistedd. The only downside being that it wasnt for long enough. We have been staying there for over ten years and that alone should speak for itself. However just to expand a little.Plenty of available parking.Always a warm welcome from Linda or Brian on arrival whether you are a regular or a new...
