If you are looking for a nice place to stay in rural north Wales, then is a perfect destination. Your host Anwen is a lovely lady who is very warm and welcoming and has a lovely old dog called Jack. The cottage is very spacious and can accommodate 7 people easily. The cottage was found to be immaculately clean and...

This is the third year that we have been back to Betws Bach with friends of ours. The cottage is beautifully maintained and equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. The surroundings are beautiful and it is a fantastic place to get away from it all. We have been in November each year - the weather has not...

So pleased to have found Anwen's cottages online after searching for dog friendly accommodation in the area. Rhos Ddu was easy to find despite it's rural and quiet location and it felt very private and secluded even though another of Anwen's properties is just next door. Plenty of walks locally and the cottage is in-between the towns of Porthmadog and...

What a pleasure it was staying at Betws Bach, one of the Rhos Country Cottages near Criccieth, in mid October. The 'old farmhouse', with fascinating original features, is very roomy, spacious, cosy, comfortable and spotless clean. Anwen, the owner, was so friendly and helpful and had equipped the cottage with everything we could possibly need. It's set in an ideal...

This is the third time we have visited the Rhos Duu cottage near Criccieth in Wales. Each time we have found the cottage to be clean, tidy and in good order. Anwen, the owner, is lovely and always leaves a pint of milk in the fridge so we can enjoy a brew before getting to the shops. The kitchen diner...

Just returned from an amazing week in North Wales. We stayed at Rhos Ddu, which was absolutely fabulous, the cottage was situated in a very quiet area just outside Criccieth. It was ideal for exploring Snowdonia and everyday was a different destination. The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and ticked all the boxes, very very comfortable. There are loads...

We spent the last week of September enjoying Hendre Farmhouse's excellent accommodation. Our group of four friends and two dogs were made very welcome by Anwen, the owner. The house is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The remote location suited us all and we didn't have to travel far to find many interesting places to visit with some lovely...

Rhos Dhu is a wonderful cottage in a fantastic location. The owner, Anwen Jones, has thought of everything and made the booking process very easy. She responded to emails promptly. The cottage is very well maintained, well-equipped and comfortable throughout. The bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. The steam shower in the main bedroom was a luxury to look...

Have just returned from a week's stay at Hendre, near Criccieth, North Wales. It's in a great position for exploring the Llyn Pennisula. Following excellent communication prior to our visit by Anwen (the owner), we knew we would be in for a lovely stay the minute we walked through the door at Hendre. A very spacious and well-equipped farmhouse, which...
