Exceptional and delicious takeaway, with an incredible variety of food, and plenty of it. The food was handed over piping hot, on time and following strict social distancing rules. Excellent service and great value for money. Best chocolate brownie ever. Well done and thank you.

Similar issues to others who have commented. Temperature of water for shower was only luke warm. Tried to adjust but made no difference. The heater in my room kept making rather loud bursts of noise of a kind of metallic nature, which didn't help for getting off to sleep. I was busy during the day and didn't think to mention it to reception as I assumed it was an ongoing issue as there was also a very noisy radiator on the corridor 2 rooms down from my room.I also spent some time trying to get the TV working as it was set on radio and in this obviously took up what was meant to be some relaxation time after a long drive! Also in terms of the cleanliness in the bar where people were eating and drinking it is correct that the tables were wiped over with the same cloth, altho some sort of spray was used . In general the accomodation was average and was fine if you just wanted the room to sleep and weren't seeking any luxury. It's a shame that it isn't slightly upgraded with more modern furniture in the rooms and better showers. Then it could possibly be more like 4* rather than 3* as it's location is very good for many areas ,including Chester of course.Staff were pleasant and the waiting staff in the bar were helpful and friendly.Cannot complain about the price which included breakfast and I stayed during the week but my room had a wall for a view. I wouldn't go for the weekend as I think the hotel relies heavily on Weddings and guests could then be pretty noisy after their celebrations. Obviously I'm talking in terms of 'normal' circumstances'

Good Afternoon Many thanks for taking the time to leave your comments. I'm sorry for the shortfalls you encountered. There is a duty manager available 24/7 to speak to with regards to any issues you may have. We use an anti bacterial spray on all tables and al our cloths look the same but aren't necessarily the same cloth. There is a refurbishment programme in progress but this was hindered by the Covid pandemic lockdown. I hope that you will visit us again should you be in the area. Kind regards Beccy Cliffe Executive Assistant
