After a number of great experiences eating in the Hotel restaurant we were so excited to book for a one night stay over Easter weekend when visiting family. The location of the hotel is perfect, up in the hills with great views and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival at the hotel we queried the room we had been given,...

Four of us went for Sunday lunch and were seated in the dining area soon after arriving. Staff were very efficient and friendly, we were promptly given the menus and our orders taken. Service was quick and the food was lovely, all fresh and plentiful. The sweets were brought round on a trolley, so you could see what they looked...

Went for dinner on Saturday night! Was really nice. Lovely Easter decorations, pleasant staff and good food. The 9.1 rating on the door doesn't do this place justice. Fantastic gardens in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

This was an early evening dinner with guest speaker, to celebrate St. David's Day the venue offered stunning views during the day over the Clwydian Range looking towards Cheshire and Merseyside. What an excellent choice for our celebration evening. The atmosphere on entering was electric and proprietor Simon Buckley was very hands on in welcoming the guests and serving the...

We received a wonderfully warm welcome from the moment we stepped through the door at reception, all the staff were extremely polite and professional even though the place was heaving with revellers. The Christmas decorations are an eclectic mix of old and new; traditional alongside the more contemporary, an absolute delight that must take an age to set out. Our...

For a modesty priced Christmas dinner there was very little to complain about, good value, good food, two real ales on draft and a decent bottle of wine for £15. Staff friendly and helpfull. Recommend.
