I stayed here on a Thursday night for work. From the rear car park you enter straight into the bar which is very dated. The barman was busy serving a group of workers. I told him I had a room booked for the night. Room 1 was poor the bed springs were coming through the mattress. They must have known...

We stayed here in August on a Friday night, the hotel was ok the room we had I think was number 8 which was facing the road. I don't know if the windows were double glazed but the traffic noise was loud enough to wake me up early on Saturday morning. The room itself was ok with tea and coffee...

What lovely people run this quiet little place. We turned up believing we had a Sat evening booking only to discover, to our embarrassment, that I had booked for the Sunday. The owner was so helpful, he didn't have a double available so he called some other local hotels but no success. Disaster I thought, no, he had a single...

You arent going to get a luxury hotel for the price. We really enjoyed our stay, despite the creaky bed! It is a little run down but the staff are lovely and the extra you pay for the cooked breakfast is good value (husband), especially for those of us who want the included continental (me). We had a comfy night...

After being refused a later check out time from 10.30 to 11.00 am even though I advised we were attending a wedding the owner was abrupt and simply said no. We were delayed on mway and I asked my daughter to check us in as it was unlikely we would get there before midnight. I had already supplied my bank...

Booked into the hotel and was immediately asked for payment, this raised our conversation as we had not even seen the rooms. Given keys and told where to find our rooms. I stayed in single room which was so small that you could not leave the wardrobe door open because it would render the room unusable. The double room that...

We stayed here last week as a one night stop-over on the way to visit family, yes I agree with other travellers that the décor is a little dated but it clear to see when you walk into the bar the character of the place so the dated rooms did not come as a surprise, we stayed in room 5...

My husband booked this hotel for one night before we went to visit my dad in Denbigh the next day. When I looked at the reviews I did not give out much hope for a good stay. What I found was extremely pleasant staff, a room that was on the small side, but clean, The wardrobe handle came off in...
