Gerade was Tips anging zwecks Essen gehn - top! Immer wieder!

We were attending a wedding at nearby Plas Isaf in Corwen and decided to stay at Cilgwri for 2 nights. We were impressed with everything - large, spacious warm double bedroom, modern bathroom with underfloor heating, huge shower, etc. The setting is fairly remote (be prepared to open a few farm gates) but the scenery is stunning - beautiful countryside, cows, sheep and rolling fields. Also well located to Corwen, Bala etc. Lynn and Steve were superb hosts and it was more like staying with relatives or friends. The absolute highlight of the trip was the fantastic breakfasts - homemade sausages, poached duck eggs, even homemade granola, honey and jams. Lynn and Steve couldn't do enough to help and I'm so glad we chose to stay in their lovely home with a genuinely warm welcome, rather than anywhere else. Thank you!

If you want to find a small, cozy, getaway in an idyllic location, look no further. Steve and Lynn, the owners are welcoming, charming and the ideal couple to be running a B&B. If you're interested in farming Steve will be happy to have you accompany him on his daily rounds and if you ask nicely he'll let you hunt for eggs in the chicken coop. It's like Easter every day:) If you're interested in honey and bee-keeping then you'll be in heaven with the WEALTH of information and knowledge Steve has built up as an avid bee-keeper. It's a long way from San Diego to Cilgwri but worth every mile of the journey. Thank you Steve & Lynn for a wonderful and relaxing stay. Dennis & Verena

Staying here is our idea of heaven when we can just relax. do some sightseeing and generally unwind. We have stayed here in each of the four seasons and each stay equally precious, the accommodation is sublime, the breakfast very moorish with outstanding views as you partake. Lynn and Steve, not forgetting Dilys, have become good friends over the years, and all the animals & wildlife are just an added bonus. In Sept we were out with Lynn & Steve at 10-30 pm looking for, and finding, young trout in the stream behind the house!! We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future, it has become very much a home from home, long may it continue. Cheryl and Gerald B

Cilgwri is just near Corwen in Central Nth Wales. Access to Caernarffon, Snowdonia are easy. The hopsts steve and Lynn were very welcoming and happy to spend time having a chat. The room was spacious and comfortable with an excdellent en-suite bathroom. We also had use of the longe room beneath our bedroom. Breakfast was also very good. The road to the B&B is a through a farm and this may involve opening and closing gates, dodging sheep, but all very charming. The B&B offers excellent value for money. Be more than happy to stay again.
