We stayed for two nights between Christmas and New Year. The rooms are a lovely size with thoughtful little additions (homemade treats in the room each day - Welsh cakes to die for!), little square of homemade soap, electric blankets on the bed, a guest fridge with fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room. Bathrooms are good and...

We are really pleased you enjoyed your Christmas break with us. Having such good weather at this time of year was a bonus - great for long walks in the hills and on the beach with out having to use your car. We hope to see you again sometime soon.

This was our third stay, for a reason! The house is beautiful and welcoming, the room is spotless and cosy, the price reasonable (this time we took advantage of a Winter offer - even better) and the breakfast one of the best we've had from a B&B! Again, we were made to feel so welcome, and were free to come...

We were so pleased to find this place open during the Christmas break. Peter was very helpful with local knowledge, particularly as we are considering moving house to the area. The place itself was very central, within a few minutes walk of the castle and restaurants. It had immaculate rooms which were large, lovely and warm and tastefully decorated. Great...

We recently stayed for a couple of nights over a weekend. A lovely location and homely rooms looking down to the castle and lounge area with fire. Always warm and cosy. Cheryl and Peter were very welcoming made us feel at home. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice and fresh bread. Also extra cakes made for our return from...

Arrived at Pen Y Garth for a family funeral and we were met by Peter who showed us to a very spacious and warm room. It had a fabulous view of Harlech Castle and Snowdon which was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable that we found it hard to get up in the morning. The en suite was very...

Beautiful little b and b! We had a lovely stay we were in the attic room known as the harlech room! But beware of low ceilings I kept bumping my head!! Peter the proprietor was lovely! He picked us up from the station we would never have walked up the hill! Back to the room now loved all the extra...

It was lovely to meet you all and we are glad that you liked our B&B. We, like you, were shocked that the pub had closed down on the day you arrived but we hope that it will open again soon with new tenants. When the weather is good, Harlech has the most wonderful beach and lovely and varied walks...

We really enjoyed meeting you and your dog. Next time a puppy as well? It was fortunate that we had our only dog friendly room available for you that night. We think that room works well for dog owners as it has its own entrance so we can keep the rest of the house dog free.

What a really lovely place rent a room. To get Pen y Garth you first have climb a step hill, easy in a car. But when you get there the treat begins. Once in off road parking, it's time appraise house. Old stone blocks form the outer walls and at once you are whisked back to the days and toils...

The best B and B we have ever stayed in ! Excellent views, hospitality and breakfast. If I could give six stars out of five then I would. So quiet and peaceful, the only problem was the lack of eating places in Harlech.

We do not mind six stars! The pub is now doing food again which helps on the days that the other eating places are closed. We never tire of the views of the mountains and beach from our house which change constantly with the weather and the seasons.
