The rooms were nicely furnished, and the breakfasts very good, but Paula the host was not very friendly and was disinterested, there was next to no conversation. She took us to our rooms and left us at the door, not coming in to show us around, this took away from our stay as with previous holidays the hosts play an...

What more is there to say? Very comfortable, a bit quirky - in a positive way - with hosts who really care about their guests. We'd stay again in a heartbeat, and stay longer to explore the immediate area ... we only had time to visit Harlech Castle, the Ffestiniog Railway, and Portmeirion, which were all delightful in their own...

The Farmhouse has such a warm, comforting atmosphere it feels like home. The bedroom was very pretty with a four-poster bed, huge bathroom (with a bath as well as a shower) and lovely views. Downstairs there is a comfortable sitting room with lots of chairs and sofas you can sink into. Paula is very good at producing pots of tea...

Ran away to North Wales after a busy few months at Work. Llwyndu Farmhouse is a wonderful old listed house with fantastic views over the coastline just North of Barmouth. Paula and Peter were fabulous hosts, Ate there the first night and it was delicious (highly recommend the Welsh cheese plate) and they have a great wine list. Room was...

We were shown our room by Paula and her grandaughter - four poster, with a lovely bathroom and views of the sea. Comfortable, cosy room, with antique pieces of furniture. Meals were delicious and our hosts did all they could to make sure I had a dairy - free and gluten free choice. As much food as possible was locally...

We arrived late at 9pm, however Paula had been made aware of this and meals had been pre-ordered. Paula was not warm and welcoming and we felt like an inconvenience. We assumed it must have been a long day for her but the negative attitude persisted for the duration of our stay (2 nights). When serving us she would slam...

arrived late (8:45pm) and despite ringing the owner to advise, upon arrival the owner made us feel like a total inconvienence. Also she advised we were too late for dinner and that she would not make us anything. This was further compounded by the fact that the kettle in the room didn't work. They seem to be living of the...

..you wont regret it. We stayed 2 nights in room 4 with a king sized 4 poster bed. The room & bath/shower en suite were fine. complete with Welsh walk-in fire place with drift wood artfully displayed. But there no doubt the superb food cooked by Peter will really put the top on your visit. The breakfasts are filling and...

Only stayed here for one night but had an excellent stay. This is an old farmhouse so don't expect modern, souless rooms. However, our room was very spacious and comfortable, but had a bath and no shower and quirky things like pieces of wood stopping the sash window from sliding down! In other words full of character and the view...
