I gave this a five star rating, because it was an excellent venue, staff were friendly and rooms where a good size and very well thought out for travellers. A lovely big kitchen and plenty of cookers and fridges for self catering, only wished they did breakfast :) Homely and just stunning views from the hostel, amazing!

We had 3 nights here. This was my first stay in a hostel, and I'm glad to say that it exceeded my expectations in all respects. There was a mixture of age groups staying there, and it appeared to be full every night, but amazingly quiet. The hostel is well presented, clean and tidy at all times, hot water available...

Wow, just a great friendly, clean, luxurious, and relaxed short stay! If GLAMPHOSTELING was a category, Plas Curig Hostel would certainly be no 1! Less than 5 min walks to the local pub and café. Easy to get to Snowdon and all the other magnificent peaks. You could easily spend a week walking, cycling or running from here.

We were spending a week in the area and used this hostel for our accommodation. Having stayed in several hostels in my time this is one of the best. It was clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen and showering facilities.

Seems like this is going to be another one of those reviews that stands out as not being as positive as all the others! We stayed here for a night at the end of a holiday to Snowdonia. The place itself is fine - warm, comfortable and clean. Nicely decorated. The rooms and beds are comfortable as well. Service was...

“I have never stayed in a youth hostel before and was quite nervous about the format. However this was quickly squashed as the facilities and friendlyness of the staff and guests overcast any doubt. This is a fantastic place to stay for anyone wanting to play in the mountains. The people staying there are like-minded individuals and will chat with...

Visited for an overnight stay with friends, not wanting to camp, but not wanting to spend the money on a hotel. Excellent location, close to the cafe and short walk on footpath to pub. Very friendly staff, clean room, excellent facilities. Hot shower.

Lovely well run hostel. The communal rooms are warm and welcoming and always very clean. The kitchen facilities are excellent and unusually for a hostel the beds are very comfortable. We have stayed before and we will certainly be booking again for future trips. Tips for other travellers The Moel Siabod cafe is a very short walk from the hostel...

I really couldn't fault the place. For a hostel its first rate with plenty of facilities to use. The staff were friendly on arrival and helpful throughout my stay. The dining room and kitchen were massive, with plenty of stuff to use in the kitchen and organised space on shelves and in the fridges. The bathroom/toilets were always clean with...
