We Stayed here overnight during late January, but spent 2 days in Aberaeron. This is a lovely little coastal town with brightly painted multicoloured houses, a small harbour and a good scattering of shops and eateries. The Feathers is in a prime location away from the main coastal road overlooking a pleasant little park. The room was luxurious, spotlessly clean...

Been here a few times including having my works dinner here. Find the evening meal menu a little limited if you don't like fish, but the Sunday carvery is great value for money. For the first time (today) the veg was crunchy (I hate crunchy veg, prefer it to be cooked but these were like they're raw) and the rare...

Been a few times for Sunday lunch here and everytime, I come from there very happy. As a carvery meal, you get to choose your meat and help yourself. The food is brilliant. Today's carrots were a bit hard though and the drinks are quite pricey, however as a treat every now and again we don't mind. Would recommend their...

Staff were nice enough and the bed was very comfortable. We were lost trying to understand where the 5 stars came from. The hotel is very dated and reminiscent of how hotels used to be 30 years ago. The decor is very old and so is the furniture. The bathrooms (we had two rooms in the booking) were had been...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you found the décor and the furniture very dated, the hotel is 200 years old and has been decorated in line with its age. With regards to the price of the room, your booking was made by a third party booking agency which does not allow you to book a double...

Having averaged 4/5 on TA although this hotel looked a little on the pricey side given October is hardly in the middle of tourist season. That said location looked good and on brief inspection, the reviews seemed to suggest a pleasant stay. On arrival, the hotel appears to be lovely, it's on a Main Street but it's quiet and in...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found the hotel dated, but the furniture and styling of the rooms is in keeping with the age of the Feathers, celebrating its 200th year. The heating in your room was adjusted, and we apologies that the room was cold on your arrival. It is a shame that you booked your...

We booked through last rooms a couple of days before and arrived just after lunch. Hotel has a lovely traditional style and obviously a very old building and a statement in the town of Aberaeron. Only 12 rooms and lovely bar, breakfast room. Didn't eat there in the evening but breakfast was great although on the pricey side if you...

I arrived without reservation due to a issue with another hotel in the area. The man offered help and tried to contact the other hotel but to no avail. He offered a double room for the same price as a single, the hotel itself is very nice, the room is spacious and airy. I had dinner that evening and enjoyed...
