This is a gorgeous, historic hotel with a beautiful lobby area and great gift shops. The staff was very helpful during a crowded, busy check in, and were prompt in their response to other needs and requests. The rooms themselves are rather small and plain, but comfortable beds and roomy bathroom. I personally hate not having any windows that open...

Dear travelmae64, Thank you for telling us about your recent stay at The Peabody. I apologize for the complications you experienced during your stay, and have sent your review to our Room Service team for training. I am happy that you were able to enjoy Afternoon Tea in Chez Philippe. We are the only place in Memphis that serves a...

We absolutely loved it at the Peabody. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. The service was 1st class and very friendly. The room was spacious and had everything we wanted. The parade of the ducks each day is a must. But make sure you are down in the lobby at least 30 minutes...

Very disappointing to arrive at the reception desk only to be told we cannot have the king room we reserved without a $90 upgrade (that turned into $157 when we checked out). I heard the same woman giving the same bad news to everyone who was checking in when we were checking out. Didn't receive our "free" continental breakfast and...

Dear Carol S, I apologize for the confusion you experienced during check-in. When making reservations, guests guarantee their room type, Executive, Deluxe or Superior, but do not guarantee bed types. However, we do our best to try to meet each request. It sounds like your reservation was over a high occupancy date and that the only King rooms we had...

A really nice place to stay. Lobby bar and restaurants a treat. The duck walk at 11AM and 5:30 PM is a wonderful tradition and great entertainment. Afternoon tea at Chez Phillippe is another elegant tradition. Nice gift shoppes in the hotel and deli/cafe that offers free coffee in the morning. Several nearby attractions.

Only had the pleasure of staying here one night and it is easily one of the most dog friendly hotels we've visited. Upon arrival you are greeted with your own dogbowl and something other hotels should take note of, a paper with a list of nearby parks with descriptions and a vet list. They have gone the extra step to...

Valet parking is also included and free use of the gym and pool ans shoe shine. Although is is $90per night extra, well worth the...

Fun even on a business trip. The Duck parade was very fun! The quality of the rooms, food and service was excellent. I would recommend the hotel for other business events or family get aways. Very nice!

The Peabody is everything a grand hotel should be. The Lobby is like stepping into the middle of a 1930's film set in a hotel. The ceiling of the lobby is a true work of art, look up at it while you're enjoying a drink and listening to the pianist in the lobby. The lobby fountain has ducks swimming in...

The location of the Peabody, it's history, and the beautiful lobby are highlights of this hotel. However the rooms are tiny and the hotel gouges you with fees. We charged drinks to the room and in addition to paying for the drinks plus tips, we were charged an $11.95 service fee for the privilege of charging drinks to the room....
