We used this hotel as a good central point to go out driving around the highlands over 4 days.

From the minute you enter Glengarry castle hotel you are made to feel so welcome. We went for dinner and the food was superb. The service was brilliant. I would go again definitely. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Staff all very welcoming. Excellent food. Rooms are good and comfortable. Nice being next to the loch. Rooms to relax in at night were well stocked. No real complaints. Decor in room was a little dated but that is only minor detail we had. Otherwise...More

We stayed in the Glengarry Castle Hotel for one night, would have loved to stay longer but we were booked on a ferry to North Uist the next day! The food in the hotel restaurant is excellent and it was worth visiting for that alone....More

My understanding is that dogs are allowed in certain (but not the deluxe) bedrooms. However, they're not allowed in most of the public areas including the dining rooms. And I've never seen any in one of those rooms but I... More
My understanding is that dogs are allowed in certain (but not the deluxe) bedrooms. However, they're not allowed in most of the public areas including the dining rooms. And I've never seen any in one of those rooms but I have in the corridors and outside.
Check with the hotel to be sure.
