Ferroch guesthouse has recently changed hands and Claire has maintained the standards of the previous folk who ran a B and B which had great reviews. The aspect is superb with a lovely sunroom overlooking the Loch. A fully equipped and large kitchen and enough staples to back up a simple meal, it is a lovely retreat. Torridon is a... More

The lodge, the hostess and host, and the lodging are the best of anyplace on the globe. And of course, it is Scotland, so that's an advantage right there. As the locals say, there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. Walking in the rain or sun are just different forms of beauty. So don't be a... More

Exceptionally friendly hosts Gina and Peter welcomed us into their very smart and immaculately maintained home making us feel like family friends. The accommodation was very comfortable with many personal touches, comfortable beds, very good bathrooms with power showers, everything immaculately clean and breakfast was the best meal of the day during our 4 days in Torridon with home baked... Not inviting and the warm welcome you would expect in the Highlands, so much so we cancelled at the 11th hour and received a warm welcome at The Torridon down the road. I was looking forward to my first trip to Torridon with my boyfriend, initially looked at hotels, but the Torridon hotel was out of our budget and the... More

We never actually stayed there . Got stuck in roadworks coming up late on a Thursday night and then got lost . Phoned the B and B to explain but was met with an incredible unfriendly response . Told 'we won't wait up all night ' .Very frosty and unfriendly - so just cancelled . Go to the Torridon Inn... More

A friend and I recently stayed at a number of B and Bs in Scotland, and Ferroch was our favorite. Not the fanciest, or the most expensive, either. From our warm welcome from Gina..."Would you like some tea and carrot cake," to our excellent breakfast...all was great. Gina makes nearly every thing, if not ever thing, from scratch...even the soap... More

Me and my friend stayed for two nights and enjoyed the time spent. Local info and walking advice/safety check in, friendly banter, great breakfast variety including a range of home made jam/yogart/museli etc. A very good place to stop in Torridon. Thanks Gina nad Peter

We loved the view, the room, the warm welcome and care and the excellent food. We had not been to Torridon for 40 years and the whole experience was magical even though the weather could have been kinder. Some people who write reviews have to seize on some minor detail to criticize- but on this occasion such comment would be... More

Do not make the mistake, as we did, of going to Achnasheen! It is 20 miles away. Totally our own fault for not realising Annat is a different place! It was well worth driving the 20 miles back however as it was one of the nicest B&B's we stayed in. Tastefully decorated and well maintained. Not only that, the food... More

Seven years after our first summer-stay, we went back to Ferroch. It felt like seeing old friends back again after a long time. What a warm welcome from Gina and Peter, and what a great stay! Gina superb breakfast choices, unbelievable views, and everything you want just at your fingertips; sea shore, mountain walks, Torridon, Diabaig, Applecross peninsula, boat trips... More
