We stayed here prior to our ferry trip to Belfast. The ferry is just 5 minutes away. There was plenty of parking available. We were greeted by friendly hosts, Colin & Rhona. The room was comfortable, clean, good size with a view. There was good wifi in the room. Breakfast was very good with generous servings. It is an easy...

This is a small friendly hotel, with owners who care about the comfort of their guests. Room was homely, well equipped with lovely accessories. The bathroom was a lovely size as was the room. Bed was very comfortable- great nights sleep. Lovely breakfast, fresh coffee, breakfast cooked to order, fresh flowers in the window. Good choice of breakfast - poached eggs...

We stayed here for 2 nights on the to and back from Ireland. The room was very comfortable, smelt exceptionally clean with a good sized bathroom and large walk in shower. Breakfast was very good quality with gold choice. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. Exceptionally good value.

Harbour Lights is one of a number of row-houses located on the waterfront in Stranraer, Scotland, easily identifiable by its dusty-pink facade. Our room and bath were just the right size, beautifully furnished and meticulously clean, memorable as well for its polished wood, glass, and shiny brass. In the lovely dining room, breakfast was made to order from a generous...

Arrived in Stranraer with nowhere to stay that night. Ended up at Harbour Lights b&b. We were made to feel very welcome after just knocking on the door to enquire about room vacancies. We were in room 1 which was the only room left. It was a twin room on the ground floor on the front. It was spotlessly clean...

Three of us stayed here 2 nights in May at the start of our walk of the Southern Upland Way. I had a double room to myself (room 2?) and it was huge! It had a very comfortable bed and the en-suite had a full sized bath. Also good views across the loch. The choice of breakfast was good big...

We are 2 couples holidaying through Scotland and on to Ireland, choosing to take the ferry across - so where to stay - Cairnryan itself - no. We chose Stranraer and the Harbour Lights Guest House. What a great place and excellent hosts Colin & Rhonda. Rooms are a good size, really comfortable beds, great breakfast, and help to decide...

A very nice place to stay. You are made to feel very welcome on arrival. Rooms are very nice & a lot of thought has gone into your every need. Only problem we had was having a double bed as we are used to a kingsize, after almost falling out of bed we used the single bed also as we...

We stayed in Stranraer overnight en-route to Belfast and my wife chose the Harbour Lights Guest House accomodation. Easy to find, and ample local parking, we were greeted by the owners, and ordered breakfast for my wife (pre-order for kippers or smoked salmon). The room (Superior) was large and clean, with a well stocked tea service and an equally well...
