Attentive Staff. Restful ambiance. When you drive into the grounds you know you are in for a treat. A friendly welcome and pre- lunch drink in the old-worldly lounge sets you up for a five star lunch / meal /stay Food to savour. We look forward to our next visit.

At first I thought I might miss the telephone connection and poor wifi but in the end it was a wonderful blessing - we had a night away from everything and really reconnected. Lovely room, great food, fantastic night's sleep and a superb breakfast. The fact that we had great weather and sat on the grass drinking wine in the...

Like a lot of people, my husband and I work hard all week, and at Knockinaam Lodge the owners and staff work equally hard to ensure that the hustle and bustle of the world doesn't come near you while you're in their hotel. That's what we wanted, and that's exactly what we got. The Lodge offers unaffected luxury without the...

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David & Sian, proprietors, as well as all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The service at dinner was exceptional and the cuisine first class. The location of Knockinaam is wonderful, situated in a secluded cove overlooking the Irish Sea. You can...

We booked a short family break at the new Shingle Lodge at Knockinaam. This wonderful haven on the beach lived up to the high standard Knockinasm experience. A stunning well designed contemporary Lodge with everything we could need while also benefitting from access to Knockinaam.

Have wanted to visit this hotel for a while so was delighted to see a deal on Itison. My husband and I spent two nights in this beautiful hotel. The setting is stunning, with lovely gardens and private beach with super views over the Irish Sea. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room on arrival. Our room was...

Was looking forward to a weekend away and was delighted that the hotel had its own beach but that turned out to be grey and pretty dirty. Despite a charge for the dog I was told that he wasn't allowed in any of the public rooms and as it turned out not to be left in the room as we...

Wanted to visit for years as friends used to go there. Bought as an Itison deal and paid an extra £50 for a super sea view. Lovely building in a fab location. Loved the decor with all the original features. We were met by Ross who couldn't do enough for us. Our room had no heating when we arrived although...

Small country hotel style with friendly, yet unobtrusive staff. Locations is stunning, with effectively a private beach. Room was comfortable, as were bar and lounge before and after meal. Great selection of single malts with an extensive priced catalogue for you to peruse and select from. We ate there on both nights of our stay (part of the special offer...

My wife and I went for two nights as part of promotion which was in particular food orientated. We had a lovely sea view room and enjoyed the log fire and pre dinner drinks in particular. We were extremely pleased with the whole organisation and presentation of the dinner in a very charming dining room. The food itself was of...
