My husband and I decided to have a weekend away glancing in a "posh pod" and it was fantastic. I had read other people's reviews and was really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys being outdoors and can cope without staying in a 5star hotel. The hot tub was so...

We stayed in our tent in the wild camping area and it is beautiful - looking across to forests and lakes. The site is very clean and tidy but mainly geared up for the pod and bothy residents. The kitchen has a really useful cooker, but only one oven for the entire campsite and no fridge for the campers, which...

We stayed in a Posh Pod with the hot tub, it was lovely. Staff were very nice and helpful, facilities very clean and the hot tub was great. The pod we were in could do with a bit of tlc, fairy lights not all working, the foam mattress was so thin, fridge door a bit loose, and the wifi costs...

We spent a two night stay in the Rowan Pod, complete with hot tub. The pod was cosy with a decent sized fridge and kettle. Perfect for the two of us (think it may be a little crowded with four people) We loved that the pod was quite secluded and the whole place very quiet (just what we wanted for...

Stayed in Bothy 1- Very nice, clean a fairly well equipped. Sleeps 6, but 4 of us stayed (plenty of room for 6 though). Bothy doesn't have toilet facilities but the nearby toilet and shower block very clean tidy. We hired the eco-hot-tub for the weekend. The first day it was great, but with no chemicals or filter, I think...

Booked here for two nights, as preferred the fresh air to a hotel. Only booked the small timber tent, which was advertised as very basic, essentially just a roof over my head. This is true, but I was really impressed when I arrived. The place was thoughtfully designed: big enough to stand in, heater, light, and with lockable door etc....

We booked a Wild Camping pitch at Gorsebank for four days over the Spring Bank weekend, arriving on the Thurs. When checking in, the owner said, as we were the first to arrive, we had "first dibs" on a pitch. He went on to explain there was one which was just off the main wild camping area, all to itself....

Had very little to do with the proprietors other than at check-in, but they were really pleasant. The Jumbo pod we stayed in was really comfortable and the shower/washroom/toilets and kitchen facilities were always immaculate. We walked the forest trails and explored the wider area, and had a really peaceful relaxing time.
