Camped with a group as part of our west highland way trip. This was a great stop it gave us access to free clean water, a shop with food and outdoor essentials, a bar/restaurant, aswell as showers and toilets. The facilities were well maintained and cleaned regularly, the staff were very friendly and lenient with regards to checking in and out.

We booked Beinglas campsite for day 3 of the West Highland Way. We booked well in advance in April and were told by a lady who emailed us back just to provide our name etc which we did and just to pay on arrival. We contacted the same lady by email again in June to let them know we were bringing an extra tent, that was no problem. However, when we arrived after one of the hardest days, 21 and a half miles, we hobbled into Beinglas Farm Campsite exhausted and hungry to be told they didn't have details of our booking! It was such a kick in the teeth. We were asked to show the email to prove our booking but my phone was out of battery by that point. I would have thought they would be able to check their own email but we were made to wait until my phone charged and provide the email. Luckily a more sympathetic staff member just told us to pitch up and they would sort it out later. The food at the restaurant on site is OK, fills a hole but not the best... the breakfast and the coffee was better than dinner options. The shower and toilet facilities were good and a wee shop on site was great for stocking up on camping/walking supplies, snacks, food and drink.

Stopped here for the 3rd night of the WHW. An excellent campsite. Friendly and welcoming arrival. Campsite itself was clean and tidied. The toilet and shower facilities were spot on. The pod I had was just perfect for the night. The food and drink was from the bar was just delightful. They also have a wee shop with all the things you would need. I would highly recommend this campsite 👍🏻

It’s fine for one night however a few problems whilst here - paying for the dog which is fine but was stated that they had to be kept on lead and well behaved, however when we went in to bar with ours there was one roaming around not on lead and ended up coming up to mine and going for him when it was unprovoked. Toilets are okay however had no toilet roll last twice I tried to go and ended up having to ask if they would put some in for them just to dump the roll on the wooden chairs and not in the dispenser - not very covid friendly? Members of staff are quite rude at times and making rude faces about customers trying to get though on the phone to customers in the bar, wasn’t very professional and it wasn’t that busy at the time. Telling them down the phone to check website and then hanging up rather than taking two minutes to help them out which would be easier. I understand this is a hard time and can be stressful going back to ‘normality’ however there’s no need to be ignorant.
